located on the waterfront, with a view of the long beach bridge, is a casual dining spot known as jordan lobster farm. order at the window and take your feast to a picnic table on the patio, or go inside for waiter service.  the menu is the same indoors or outside, with a full service bar on the patio, so the choice is yours.  there is also aretailstore, offering fresh fish, prepared dishes, kitchen utensils, and some cute t-shirts.

seafood fix in island park. jordan lobster farms has recently expanded it's kitchen operations to include an indoor dining room to complement the outdoor patio. it is not a white tablecloth setting or romantic by any stretch. oddly, the restaurant is behind theretailsales counter and has that tired nautical motif. it does satisfy your lobster, shell fish, and seafood craving. the menu preparations are simple and basic. a unique feature is that dining service begins at 9 am. order lobster for breakfast!
lobster is the central attraction, steamed, as nature intended. four soups are available. choose new england or manhattan clam chowder, lobster bisque, or spicy crab. they are all nice starters. beer, wine and soft drinks wash it all down.
dessert is an afterthought, but if you must, the key lime pie has a strong citrus filling that works well enough after a seafood repast. you are cautioned here that it comes straight from the refrigerated display in theretailstore.
