surprise salmon. nice building,greatappetizers - unfortunately i ordered the king salmon (deep red firm flesh commands premium price) - and the plate actually contained a slightly pink and mushy slice of salmon i suspect was "farmed variety". house salad was wilted (for everyone in our party). both inexcusable for the price of the meal.

worth the $ delicious food,.... worth the $
delicious food, especially the crab legs which are already split in half for you so there is no messy wrestling involved. hubby says filet was the best steak he ever had. quick, courteous service andgreatdesserts. i won't lie-- it's on the high side price wise. but totally worth it.

excellent steak and seafood!. our third trip to johnnys. we visit orlando from atlantic city every winter to escape the cold. my wife gets the eight ounce fillet and i get the long bone rib eye. make sure to order both med rare. also if u want to experience other apps they have agreathappy hour. the lobster mac and cheese is a must.

great food. we were a party of four. we were seated immediately the steaks and salmon were great. the steaks were so tender i could cut them with a fork.waiter wasgreatalways there when we needed him. wonderful experience!

after disney. family was done after a day at disney and wanted agreatdinner. there are many places to go eat at but i wanted something very good. this place was the ticket! very nice inside andgreatfood. my steak was the best i had in years 5 star.great service. my kids had the lobster and loved it. pricey but hey we are on vacation and it was worth it! hate to say but that steak was the highlite of my trip.

great happy hour and bartenders!!. my wife and i came here for drinks and apps before a company holiday party at downtown disney. marty, our bartender, was great! the cantaloupe martini wasgreatas were the appalachicola oysters. will definitely be back to try more!

great times at johnnie's. absolutely love johnnie's hideaway. atgreatstaff andgreatfood make the a place i will always visit while in orlando. this is one of those places that you can order anything on the menu and be happy with it...

.......................................first visit. johnnie's was picked because we wanted "good food" from an area restaurant--not a 'chain choice' option. we found a johnnie's hideaway coupon from our starwwod vistana resorts 'welcome to orlando' package. we were blessed!greatfood, atmosphere, service, and concern for their guests, chris was our waiter-knowledgeable of the flavors accented within each dish, courteous and efficient. moderately high prices and deserving of every cent.

a little unsure about johnnie's. we ordered the medium stone crab claws, calamari, the pounded veal chop, a 10 oz filet and 2 children's meals. while our service was very good, i found it to be a little pretentious at times. my veal chop was fatty, but tasty and a unique way to serve veal parm. there was too much sauce and cheese on the chop and it was served with no sides. our calamari was delicious, as was the crab. the steak was the smallest one on the menu, which at 10 oz is enough steak for anyone. it was very good as well. the best thing on the menu, as well as the tastiest, was my son's hamburger. i twas huge and handmade. they could have charged me $15 for it and i would have gladly paid for it. not sure anything in orlando from any restaurant group or chain impressed me to the point of wanting to return. next time i am in orlando, i will be using urbanspoon to find thegreatspots.

food & service...phe-no-men-al!. from the valet to dessert...service and food was superior! laura, you made the meal memorable and relaxing! best crab cake or should i say, crab pile? ever! de-licious. everything, including the house salad was excellent! this is the must stop in orlando if you are looking for the best seafood around or for the land grazers,greatsteaks! oh, and the made on site sweet & sour pickles with the tiny little kick...ridiculously yum good! addictive actually. the manager actually makes a visit to tables to make sure everything is above what you expected. the above average in price is made up in quality, quantity and service. you will not be disappointed!

absolutely amazing. i was in orlando with my parents and a friend via a conference, and the one goal i had was agreatseafood dinner. this evening blew all my expectations out of the water. the hotel we were at recommended and set up reservations, we arrived and immediately were swept to our table. the ambience was fantastic, the table side martini service was spot on, the waiter was one of the best i've ever had, and his recommendations and the meal that followed could only be described as "a perfect dining moment." the seafood was incredible and the one steak ordered at the table by my mother was shared and deemed the "most buttery ever." the management team touched tables throughout the night and i genuinely felt that the price was in line with the service and experience we received. if i'm ever in orlando again, i will definitely be back.

paul. we were told this was agreatresturant. we were told right. we sat at the bar and shane was a bartender. most gracious. we had a few drinks and appetizers. we started with the escargot - fantastic. the the oysters rockefeller. the best we ever had. the fresh north east oysters are perfect. wife had the seared ahai tuna and i had the scallops in a fennel infused sauce. melt in your mouth like butter. the key lime cheesecake to die for. peter, the other bartender was also excellent. andy, the manager came and talked to several times. we were not disappointed and are going back again tonight. everyone was a delight including othe guests at the bar. 5 star in our opinion.
