worst service ever....sit at your table for 2 hours and still no food! then charge you $25 for 4 side salads and 4 teas because you say forget it!! save your time and money and go somewhere else.

good/fair. i used to eat here all the time as a kid..don`t know if the divorce or the move changed the restaurant.
the service is horrible, not friendly anymore..the food is good but not like it used to be when it was on treadway.
go back to the other way, no servers, they are rude.
i liked the concept of ordering then finding the table.
by the way, i like the brighter side were they are serving and i can`t sit over there because it is the full service side.
get rid of the servers joe!!!!
make the restaurant, the way you had it on treadway!!!

cowboys & bbq.... stockyard atmosphere and grewat bbq. the service was great and the beer cold. definately "texas style bbq."

the atmosphere here is casual/western. the food quality was good. i ordered the 2 inch ribeye and it was absolutely huge. it was cooked perfectly and was cooked what i call country style, basically lots of salt and pepper and other rub seasonings.

service was great but this is not the place to go if you want to stay on a diet. there was so much fat on the meat i could feel my arteries closing as i ate. the sweet fries were great though and so was the cole slaw.

good. i like it! was 10 times better at the old place as far as service and atmosphere!! service sucks, they are rude and blah!! sharon the ex, took all the happy people to her restaurants!
full service side is no good. service is horrible.
if your going go eat here, order and serve yourself like they used too. food is good though .serve yourself and leave happy and full!

i ate here tonight with my family while waiting for visiting hours to start again at hendrick. my brother is critically ill and when our waiter, jeffrey smith, found out he stepped up and offered many kind words and a meal for my brother. never before have i seen such generosity and kindness shown for a stranger. he's the best waiter we've ever had. the food we had was perfect from the bread to the fresh salads and house made dressing to the perfectly marbled and cooked to order steaks. i can't thank him or the staff enough for how they blessed my family tonight. the world needs more kind people and wonderful businesses like this! thank you jeffrey!

call the health department. i'll never eat at this godforsaken dump again. i ordered the coconut shrimp, and when i got them, i took a bite, looked down, saw a black line inside my shrimp, and spat the bite out. the shrimp wasn't even butterflied open so they could remove the feces filled vein. when i had it sent back, the waitress apologized, but from across the restaurant i could see the chef giving me a dirty look. and the manager avoided our table like the plague so he wouldn't have to give us a discount. i got my new cleaned shrimp, but the breading was too thick to easily bite through and i had mostly lost my appetite. so i just ate my almost raw "steamed" veggies. i actually haven't been able to eat shrimp since.

not impressed. oysters came in little specimen cups instead of on the half shell. looked disgusting. waited forever to be seated. if you want really good bbq go to sharon's bbq--best i've had in a long time. by far.

ordered oysters at 530pm; the waitress said they are out of oysters, we ordered two ribeye s with mushrooms. we ordered medium rare, which they were, but they were both tough. my wife's 3/4" was tougher than my 1" and she could'ny even chew it. they charged us for that awful steak and we never got the mushrooms. they did take those of the check.

slooow lunch service. 1st time have eaten there. was not told the difference between the sides of the dining room, so our group sat on the table service side. there were not that many customers and took nearly forever to get food. why doesn't every table have bbq sauce and at least every other table have ketchup? we were late back to our meeting because of how long it took to get served and checked out. food was ok, nothing special.

rib - salty rub.  good flavor in this meat.  well rendered... done to the point of falling off the bone.  this is a very tasty rib! sausage - firm texture, with a strong black pepper kick. very good. other fare: beans - standard pintos. late afternoon... they are a little soft, but not quite mushy. potato salad - creamy with egg. slaw - crisp and crunchy. good. cornbread - not sweet.  green chile or jalapeno. it is good, although i got to it

good bar-b-q, good sauce. we tried joe allen's on a friend's recommendation and i'm glad. they offered good bar-b-q and good sauce. we got a variety of the appetizers; all was good but the onion rings were especially good. we also had some of the jalapeno cheese sausage. i was really impressed! it had a nice bite to it and plenty of cheese.

i had the smoked turkey. it was a tad dry, but somewhat to be expected with turkey. a friend had the chicken thy plate. they were incredibly juicy and tender! i really liked the sauce. it had a southwest flair to it, with a sense of chili powder plus a little kick, but not too hot.

not tried joe allen's yet? like good bar-b-q? give this place a try!
