went again for my birthday recently and was absolutely amazing. sat at thesushibar and chefs were great. the spanish mackerel is very good but only available on weekends. also was given complimentary tempura cheesecake for my big day. bestsushinorth of dallas in my opinion. 3 thumbs up

awesomesushiif that is what u are looking for. the tropical salmon roll is my favorite. the tower is also very good. you should try the quail egg if you have never had some before. the egg is served in a half of a lemon with masago, ponzu, and a touch of siracha. very friendlysushichefs that always take very good care of you.

very nicely appointment restaurant with excellent quality and fine serving sizes. thesushiand sashimi were presented well and were not skimpy at all.
the wait staff is very polite and attentive my companion's hibachi steak was tender and delicious.

it was very cool sitting where they cook in front of you. they do tricks and you eat everything hot and fresh. they make it how you like it. there is alsosushiat the bar that you can order from.

bestsushiwe have had in a very long time! in town for a wedding and wow! loved it! the fish is very high quality and fresh, fresh, fresh! the restaurant is in a strip mall, but don't let that turn you off. very creativesushichef.

love jinbeh!. we eat here at least once a week in thesushibar. service is exceptional from both the wait staff and the chefs. they are always very friendly and our waitress is always ready to recommend something we haven't tried. we love it!

hibachi+sushi. jinbeh is pretty solid for a hibachi andsushirestaurant. it's a great atmosphere for groups and special occasions. the food is prepared in front of you, it's fun to watch, and the chefs are entertaining. the food has always been good and they are pretty good about any special requests that you might make.

one of my favs. we go here and go forsushiand sit at thesushibar. thesushichef sam is great. our favorite is when they have spanish mackerel. the service here is very good and they have a habatchi grill here as well that my daughter likes to order from.

good place. only hadsushibut it was above average. shush bar was small but good.

mediocre hibachi. jinbeh is lucky - lucky that there aren't many other hibachi restaurants nearby. certainly, that must be the reason why their business is still thriving. my friends and i went to jinbeh for lunch today and it was packed! we had to wait 15 minutes for open seats at one of the hibachi tables. even hours after we first arrived, people continued to come in. judging from the number of returning, loyal customers, you would think this was the best restaurant ever. believe me, it's not.

the waitress was nice enough - she greeted us and got us our drinks and kept them filled. however, after we put in our orders (3 of us put insushiorders and 2 of us got hibachi orders), our experience went downhill.

we asked for two separatesushiforms so that we could distinguish who wanted what sushi. this was done in vain because thesushichefs completely disregarded our request and put all thesushiand rolls on the same plates! so we had a lot of swapping plates and reaching over each other to get to our rolls that were on the same plate as someone else's. ridiculous.

also, after the dust had settled, we noticed we never got 2 of the rolls we ordered! also, one of our friends ordered his steak rare in his hibachi order and told the chef when he wanted his steak off the grill. the chef, who up to this point had not said one word to us, ignored him and continued to cook it. when he finally took the steak off the grill and put it on his plate, the steak was medium well! unacceptable.

that's another thing you need to know about our experience. the hibachi chef, who is usually supposed to be most friendly and entertaining person in the restaurant, did not talk at all and never once smiled. he rushed through the entire cooking process and did his entire routine (onion volcano, cracking the eggs, catching the shrimp tails in his hat) in total silence. unbelievable.

i complained to the manager and he thanked me for bringing it to his attention. in the end, he gave us 10% off our bill - which i didn't feel was compensation enough for such a terrible eating experience. i think a lot of people in this area are easily impressed because of the lack of alternatives, but i encourage everyone to drive out a little further next time and find a better hibachi/sushi restaurant!

discriminatingsushifan. i stopped in carrolton for a couple days on a road trip from cali to fl. they say everything's bigger in texas and it truly applies to this sushi! i thought when first looking at the menu that the prices were a tad higher than i was used to paying at my favorite place in orlando. then i saw the size of the roll placed in front of me!!! it was massive and truly evened out the price difference. i have lived in japan and am pretty picky about my sushi. the fish was frest and artfully prepared. anytime i come through this way, i will definitely stop here!

love it!. love the show and the food is always good. i've had the shrimp, scallops and steak. service is always friendly whether you're in for lunch or dinner.sushiis also good.

greatsushichef. thesushichef makes this place. nightly, creative specials. fresh seafood prepared by an authentic japanesesushichef who is passionate about his job. the rest of the staff are friendly as well and interesting people from all over. never disappointed.

the bestsushiand hibachi in dallas. the best quality and the best tasting japanese food i've had in a while. the appetizers and the rolls are very creative. there just isn't enough good things to say about this place.
