what a great neighborhood place - do not change anything! the waffle and egg was very good. but what makes this place are the people and atmosphere. it is a small neighborhooddinerwith a great staff.

we did not have to wait but the line started to grow after we sat down. this is a place to come, sit, and eat. coffee is good but not the reason you come here. enjoy the staff.

fries were cooked to perfection. the tomato omelette was very good, made from grape tomatoes.

i ordered the combo 2 consisting of 1 hot cake, 2 strips of bacon and 1 egg. the food is what you would expect from adinerof this sort. comforting, consistent and best of all cheap. a breakfast for two will cost you around $10 plus tip (cash-only). i'd definitely return next time i want to avoid all the mimosas, eggs benedict and strollers crowding barracks row every weekend morning.

not enough bang for your buck. people on capitol hill rave about this smalldineroffering breakfast and lunch options. the staff did not seem interested in your overall experience at all. the food portions were very small considering the price. for example- a sausage patty was probably the size of a quarter. they are also cash only. the hot cakes were very good.
