awesome. the mixed plate was
great. each was super tasty, from the falafel, to the chicken cubes, to the dips! can't wait to go back.

jasmins has to be my favourite lebanese restaurant. at jasmins you are guaranteed delicious and authentic lebanese food and you will definitely be stuffed! i always go for the mixed plate so i get some of everything! the mixed plate consists of falafel, hommus, baba ghannouj, tabouli as well as your choice of meat. my favourite is the standard mixed plate ($15) with kafta, shish kebab, chicken and kebbeh. so good, especially if you love variety!! the falafel is particularly a standout, it is crispy and crunchy on the outside but its contents are so light and fluffly.  a side of chips is a must when you have lebanese food. all mains and mixed plates also come with complimentary plate of pickled salad, tempers, chillies, olives, tomatoes, onion and mint, basket of bread and of course, you can't forget the garlic sauce!! jasmins is my go-to lebanese restaurant. i can always count on value for money, delicious food and fast service. however, be prepared to wait for a table on a busy friday

excellent food, authentic experience. jasmins is your authentic lebanese food experience. do not expect a fancy restaurant & comfortable chairs but do expect fine quality kebab platters, good falafel, excellent garlic dip, unlimited lebanese bread and a passionate waiter. all in all, it's a great experience. highly recommended.

they also seem to have expanded their catering menu to a number of dishes not available in the normal dine-in experience. i’m tempted to organise a party as an excuse to try it out.

the lightest, fluffiest garlic sauce, the crunchiest falafels with the softest insides, the tastiest tabouli, the smokiest chicken, the most mountainous pile of lebanese bread you've ever been served, the pickle-iest pickles, you get the idea?

food - 9/10, ambience - 5/10, service - 6/10, value - 10/10. this place is fantastic. absolutely love the quality of the food! i always order the mixed plate which comes with baba ghanoush, hommous, two falafels, a chicken skewer, charred beef chunks, lamb sausage, tabouli and lovely tangy garlic sauce. lebanese bread and pickles are complimentary. all delicious. the falafels are hands down the best in sydney! try the home made honey lemon drink for ultimate refreshment. the ambience is a bit noisy when it's crowded, but otherwise average. the service is alright, friendly but nothing special. the prices are low, completely delicious cheap eat! if you're in the area, give it a go.

if there's anything that brings people together, it's food. communal dining is even better. sharing dishes amongst the table means everyone has to engage with each other, and consumption is no longer a private affair but a loud and colourful group effort.

lebanese food holds a special place in my heart as one of my favourite cuisines. if i were asked to articulate why that was so though, i’m not sure that i would have a suitable answer. probably the closest i could come to an answer would be that it’s food
