ordered: sambousik (lamb mince patties, $12 from 7), fattoush salad ($10), chips ($6), mixed platter with lamb and chicken ($22) and medium mashawi plate ($30) with complimentary bread/pickles. i love the diy and communal aspect of lebanese food. if i’m honest, i couldn’t differentiate what meats were what, but it all tasted good to me. nothing in particular stood out, but everything complemented each other really well and made for an enjoyable meal. all this food feeds about 5-6 ppl.

came here for a weekend lunch. the place was quite when we came but soon it was full of customers.
dish ordered: mixed plate (skewers).
portion was quite generous and everything tasted delightful.
parking space might be tricky during busy time and there’s extra charge if you pay by credit card (didn’t see any sign about the extra charge so i realised about it when i saw the receipt).

grab a few of your mates and get the large share platters and you're guaranteed to have a good time! we got the large meshawi platter and it was more than enough for 4 of us, the meat was nicely juicy and tender and the bread was deliciously hot. the standout however was the fatteh, a combination of yogurt, chickpeas and hommus, it absolutely blew us away with flavour and was worth the trip alone!

yum food with big portions, you never feel hungry when you leave the restaurant. a casual environment. parking can be a drama, there are some spots but can get full easily. we were lucky though. positive experience.

very no fuss restaurant that is really good bang for your buck and super on flavours. my favs are the garlic chicken which is their signature dish and hommus with meat. i love that they give you complimentary garlic sauce which they refill as well as bread and pickles!

thanks for the meal!

ordered a mix plate.

there is solid hearty food to be had here. everything is quite delicious with nice smokey grill flavours. the meats were tender and i particularly enjoyed the lamb. the servings of pickled sides was a big plus.

nice restaurant. it was packed at 5 in the evening.
the staff who served us was very friendly and prompt.
the food was good, right from the bread, pickles and dips served complimentary to the main course. the meats were juicy and perfectly cooked. the breads were good. the vegetarian was good too.

yummy food with decent size food, ok prices and great customer services.
make sure to ask for tea in cups cause that is complementary but not the pot!
4 stars and a half but can’t select that in the stars above.

jasmin1 features in a number of blogs and articles as the top 10 lebanese places in sydney. so one does attach a lot of expectation to it.
i find myself a little bit of an expert when it comes to food from the middle east. reason is that i have eaten the styles mostly everywhere i have gone including jeddah, dubai, turkey, brisbane, melbourne, riyadh, india, lebanon, oman, jordan - you get the picture !
however jasmin1 was disappointing. everything looked great, looked fresh, packaging was great, but everything had this excessive lemony flavour to it. we ordered practically everything there was as the occasion was a large-ish get together at home. the only thing that was spared this excessive lemon lemon flavour was the biryani.
the food felt like that it has been prepared and then the chef had taken a bottle of lemon juice and put two or three huge tablespoons in everything.
so eventually everything tasted the exact same. isn’t that fun !

was greeted with excellent and prompt service from the moment we walked in. food portions here are massive and very filling! the garlic sauce was a highlight as well. only downside was the lamb was a bit dry but other than that will be back again to try more of the menu!
