don't eat, just drink.. got the "fresh" ahi tuna salad... everything about that salad was gross. the veggies were soft, the lettuce was wilted, the tuna was over cooked and the dressing was the worst part of it. first time i ever exchanged my food! it was that bad. exchanged 4 a veggie burger. it was bad but at least it was tolerable.

overpriced but the wrap was good!. also, the deep fried pickles. awesome.

i had the buffalo chicken wrap, and it was honestly the best of that i've had. the service was friendly (though a buddy knew her, so maybe that had something to do with it), and the beers were good. it's slightly more expensive than average pub food, but also slightly better than average too.

way better than kilks! i mean, that's a really low standard, so nobody should be judged by that... but still. you have two choices for irish bars in brentwood. but really it's only one.

...i made a pit stop to check out the new venue at jamesons pub. sometimes calgary pubs can be completely hit and miss, but this wasn’t the case at jamesons! atmosphere – 10/10 service – 9.5/10 food – 9.0/10 cost – 8.0/10 *10 rated as best location   atmosphere and service jamesons has done an exceptional job at renovating. a brand new pub-style interior with dark wood finishings, multiple hdtv’s and two-tiers of seating creates a dynamic and enjoyable atmosphere. if you’re not watching the game, the open-concept interior makes it quite easy to check out what’s going on around you. it must make it easy for the servers too as mine took care of all my needs and made sure my glass was always full – exceptional service without a doubt. our orders buffalo chicken sandwich – $14.00 $2.00 – buffalo chicken tossed in ho

worst service ever. we were here on a sunny day on the patio, and there were 3 servers for 7 tables. waited 20 minutes for a server and nobody came around. finally went to the bar to get drinks, the server outside realized where we were sitting and insisted on putting the first round under her number. still took another 15 minutes for our drinks. this happened for every single round that we ordered. will not be back.

wouldn't go again.. great service but food was made wrong and it was very bland, didn't taste like much at all.

worth it! great service!. was there a few weeks ago and was still very impressed with the food and service the eggs benedict was very well done, poached to perfection and are server was very ethnic looking and very upbeat! love how they have tv's everywhere and were veryhappy to fill our requests, we will have to try other locations

great experience. over the weekend a few friends and i went for a couple pints. great experience and atmosphere. the bartender was great and always looking out for us and making sure our glasses weren't empty. we will go back for sure!!

i went there to watch an oilers game on the same night as a flames game, and they were happy to switch over a tv in our section so we could watch it, and that's a big deal for a bar that gets packed by flames fans. our server, brittany, was great. she even brought us the soda on the side for our old fashioned's, which is impressive that she knew since soda ruins the drink. i can appreciate a server who knows her cocktails. great service, great night, i'll be back again for sure.

overall good. consistent with the other jameson's overall good experience and atmosphere but nothing spectacular

went there for the first time tonight! very impressed with the selection of beer on tap. friendly service, great atmosphere. i had the jaime burger with guinness cheese and bacon. best burger in calgary! you will be tasting the garlic aioli for an hour or so. and the fries came out super hot. definitely need to go back and get another burger soon.

good food, good service. i work right down the street from jamesons and have been there more than once, for lunches, and drinks after work. the food is delicious and full of flavour, i have never been disappointed by something i've ordered. the management, bartenders and servers are friendly, and they always remember me which is nice. i would definitely recommend it to a friend. i used to go to the sunridge location and was just as happy with the food and service there, which is why i am a bit disappointed they have changed it to some other pub. anyways i am off too enjoy a jamie burger :)

great service and food. i have been here many times and have had great service! i find that the male bartenders are a little more friendly than the lady servers, but oh well. by friendly i mean more courteous, quick service, smile on their face, willing to talk, etc.

servers are lacking. i have popped in here quite a few times since it opened. the patio is small but quaint and great for people watching. the only real problem i have is with the service, or lack there of. i don't know how many times we have been ignored but it is quite a lot. i know it gets quite busy sometimes however i'm talking about early afternoon when its pretty quiet. at busier times i have learned to just sit at the bar, at least then you can get some service. i have watched my pint of guinness sit up at the bar for 10 minutes waiting for the server to bring it to me, however she was much too busy giggling and laughing with the doorman/bouncer. finally i got her attention and told her i no longer wanted the beer, just the bill so i could go spend my hard earned money somewhere that appreciated it.
they have decent enough food, although it irritates me when they don't even warm up the tortillas for the tuna tacos, its like they pull them right out of the bag and throw them on the plate...
there are many other establishments on 17th ave that serve guinness and decent food. i will not be returning to jameson's to be ignored anymore.

julianne was a sweetheart! i had a great breakfast for $9! that's awesome for eggs benny :) she was super swamped at one point but realised this and apologised to the table with a round on her. i wish there were more servers like her in calgary. sometimes things get out of control busy, i get this, i was industry for years. she was honest and apologetic and this goes a long way. very pretty too... thanks for a great afternoon :d

favourite. jamesons irish pub is definitely one of my favourite places to go for lunch, snakcs, dinner, or a night out. the service is always great, the food is delicious and they always have awesome deals when you're not looking to break the bank
