my what a difference a year makes!
nearly a year ago my husband and i stumble across this hidden jewel. i had thecurrygoat, so delicious and flavorful, i decided to visit charleston again. however, this time it was a let down. the rice and peas tasted as if it could have been under cooked. thecurrychicken was lacking the flavor of last years curry. the brown stew chicken a bit too sweet. each entree seemed to have a watery base, as opposed to the thicker bases of last year. the flavor of the food was mundane and bland. i miss the food of last year that made such an impression on me. jamaican me hungry, was more like jamaican me disappointed!
