i had the seafood laksa with eggnoodleshere and it was tasty, but nothing over the top. (forgot to take a photo of the laksa . . . sorry!)

the dumplings were nicely cooked and tasty. the spring onion pancake was ok, but i was thinking that it was going to be similar to a shallot pancake, so it really didn’t do it for me.

very limited space to sit inside as it’s a small joint, so don’t have large functions here. it’s more suited for a catch up with family or a small group of friends.

give this place a go!

very disappointing. i came in with my husband and 2 year old daughter. asked if they could make one of their noodle dishes mild with no chilli at all and they said yes.noodlescame out and was really spicy so my daughter could not eat it. i said “excuse me” 5 times to the waitress only to be ignored so i had to stand up and look for the other waitress. told them that thenoodleswere clearly spicy which they repeatedly denied and said it was mild. i insisted they were spicy and was told that they didn’t put extra chilli in and that the sauce base already had chilli in it then told “next time you should tell us not to use the chilli sauce in the noodles” absolutely ridiculous and rude staff. never ever coming back here again and will not recommend to my family and friends either.

nice view from outside,the taste is good and nice.friends pls have a visit when passby here.they also have some deserts to serve after enjoy the meals.probably the fried rice,friednoodlesand laksanoodlesalso asian people very favourite.thanks.....

the food is really affordable and filling! i got the spring onion pancake which was delicious! really crispy, and wasn't too loaded to the point that the spring onion overpowered everything else, it was nearly too oily though. i also got the dumplings & szechuen spicy noodle which i really enjoyed! it was super filling, and the sauce was flavoured perfectly, i wish i had more in ratio to thenoodlesthough. the dumplings were my favourite; juicy and a good ratio of filling to skin- the skin was really soft yet chewy which i loved! definitely try these! service was also quick and friendly :)

if there are better dumplings out there i haven't eaten them...a regular to chinatown so was buzzing to have jacksnoodlesopen up so close to home..the dumplings are now a weekly staple in our house were even our two year old will devour 2

meals came out in a timely manner. the flavour of the beef brisket noodle soup was pleasant.noodlesand steamed dumplings had good flavour and texture.

this place never disappoints. they have amazing food at a very reasonable price. and especially the pan friednoodlesand laksa are worth trying.

came here for lunch the other day after driving past this place a fair few times. we ordered their laksa, rice noodle stir fry & hokkiennoodlesstir fry. the laksa had a touch of spicy-ness to it which was good as a lot of places tend to hold back on their spicy levels with laksa. my partner and son both enjoyed the rice noodle stir fry very much! & the hokkien stir fry was also enjoyable. good place for a quick lunch that is very affordable (majority of items are under $13!!) will be back again!

amazing food from this tiny gem. poppy has only ordered the one dish so far but it was a cracker! i knew the food was going to be great after noticing the senior chef walk from the kitchen into the front of the shop, at that instant i thought this elder lady knows how to cook. i ordered the dumplings in laksa soup takeaway and it was incredible. the laksa was so coconutty and the dumplings were some of the best i've ever eaten!!! no joke. they were filled with quality spring onion, pork and prawns. the shallot pancake was delicious, the chicken seafoodnoodleslasted 2mins, they were devoured so quick and the szechuan dumplings were nice too and had a chilli kick. thumb up, worth an eat 👍 can't wait to go back on friday for lunch and try something else

entering this restaurant, i didn't receive the best impression at first. the waitress stoically explained the menu and what things were in the laksa noodle i was eyeing. given it was the weekend, i can forgive the waitress's apathy. personally i felt that this particular waitress warmed up to other customers better.

the food was delivered by the chef, and she was all smiles. i could feel that the chef was proud of her dish as she delivered it, and boy did i have a blast with it all.

any sort of fried pancake is a favourite of mine, and i couldn't resist ordering the fried spring onion pancake as my entree and it lived up to expectations. crispy and soft in all the right places and it being delicious.

the seafood laksa was definitely a treat, beautiful combination of tofu, prawns, and what i believe were crab meat, and fried squid. the soup itself gave you this pleasant, warm feeling. the cherry on top of this dish was it was presented beautifully, all the ingredients were neatly organised, and just looking at this dish is enough to full someone into thinking they're eating at a top end asian restaurant. while i was eating the soup, i had forgotten that the laksa came withnoodlesand was surprised to see them, and they went so well with the laksa. the portions are what i consider to be generous, especially since the ingredients and components of this laksa are high quality. it really does show that this place is excellent value for money.

i loved this place so much that i went back and decided how it would fare for their takeaway orders. i didn't have the laksa this time but i did have the bbq pork with rice and fried egg. i wasn't disappointed and this particular dish, was very homey. the person that happened to serve me today appeared to be nicer than the one before or seemed to have less of a bad day.

this place exceeded all expectations i had. what i love about this restaurant is that it's food done authentically, and humbly, and done right. an absolute pleasure to eat, and i look forward to coming back. so far it is by far one of the best eateries in mawson lakes (which isn't saying much, but this one is really good).
