i had the seafood laksa with egg noodles here and it was tasty, but nothing over the top. (forgot to take a photo of the laksa . . . sorry!)

the dumplings were nicely cooked and tasty. the spring onion pancake was ok, but i was thinking that it was going to be similar to a shallot pancake, so it really didn’t do it for me.

very limited space to sit inside as it’s a small joint, so don’t have large functions here. it’s more suited for a catch up with family or a small group of friends.

give this place a go!

we had jack’s noodle for takeaway via ubereats the other night. the reviews did say that the dumplings were yum, which they definitely were, but the soup broth itself was not so great. quite under-seasoned and lacked depth of flavour, especially being a laksa which usually tastes like a party. i would give this another go just to try the dumplings on their own.

very disappointing. i came in with my husband and 2 year old daughter. asked if they could make one of their noodle dishes mild with no chilli at all and they said yes. noodles came out and was really spicy so my daughter could not eat it. i said “excuse me” 5 times to the waitress only to be ignored so i had to stand up and look for the other waitress. told them that the noodles were clearly spicy which they repeatedly denied and said it was mild. i insisted they were spicy and was told that they didn’t put extra chilli in and that the sauce base already had chilli in it then told “next time you should tell us not to use the chilli sauce in the noodles” absolutely ridiculous and rude staff. never ever coming back here again and will not recommend to my family and friends either.

small little restaurant by the lake. staff very friendly & accomodating when i asked if the vegetarian dish could be made vegan they were more than happy to oblige. partner loves their laksa & the dumpling soup. nice & fresh. would definitely eat there again.

nice view from outside,the taste is good and nice.friends pls have a visit when passby here.they also have some deserts to serve after enjoy the meals.probably the fried rice,fried noodles and laksa noodles also asian people very favourite.thanks.....

food - decent food. felt like each bowl of noodle was individually cooked. just thought that the flavour could improve a tad for a 5 star!

experience - small nice shop. the staff who served me that day was friendly and helpful. 

returning - will return again if i am in the area!

always delicious and very reasonably priced. we live around the corner and frequent jacks noodle regularly. food is authentic. highly recommend.

the food is really affordable and filling! i got the spring onion pancake which was delicious! really crispy, and wasn't too loaded to the point that the spring onion overpowered everything else, it was nearly too oily though. i also got the dumplings & szechuen spicy noodle which i really enjoyed! it was super filling, and the sauce was flavoured perfectly, i wish i had more in ratio to the noodles though. the dumplings were my favourite; juicy and a good ratio of filling to skin- the skin was really soft yet chewy which i loved! definitely try these! service was also quick and friendly :)

yum! yum! yum! definitely returning to this place! really delicious food, very quick and nice staff. my partner and i really enjoyed the food, and it's right near the lake so a nice view. the place is a bit small so i'd worry about not getting a table but you can make reservations.

super good chinese style fried rice!! no.1 choice beef fried rice with hot & chilli! it was super delicious and can't tell in word!
dumpling was normal but juicy.
first time to try the dessert there, it was not bad!
super friendly staff!

amazing place to cure my homesickness with their gorgeous food! their fried food is prepared by the chinese wok with strong fire, that is exactly the fantastic effect i have had in hong kong. i love it so much! by the way, the portion of the dishes are not standardised every single time but fair enough to feed you. great dumplings i have tried since the good balance of the filling and outside. pan fired and steamed are available with the juicy pork n veggie dumplings. self-served sauces near the cashier rather than your own table, i would recommend vinegar and chilli oil which is quite good. however, the banana split was fair, not excellent but like simple desserts in hk.

probably my most frequented eating spot in mawson lakes. love their steam dumplings. if i'm feeling really hungry i'll grab their banana split. really quick service and a menu that's not over complicated.

amazing!! the most delicious, fresh, tasty home made dumplings i have ever eaten :) this time i ordered the laksa and wow....!! perfectly balanced broth, perfect amount of chilli, perfect dish in every way! my lab was pretty keen on the beautiful aroma also, haha. extremely friendly and helpful staff, cheap and great location. can't get enough of this place.

if there are better dumplings out there i haven't eaten them...a regular to chinatown so was buzzing to have jacks noodles open up so close to home..the dumplings are now a weekly staple in our house were even our two year old will devour 2

meals came out in a timely manner. the flavour of the beef brisket noodle soup was pleasant. noodles and steamed dumplings had good flavour and texture.
