went to jacks the other morning before work for my morning coffee, and decided to treat myself to a toastie. as per usual thecoffeewas fantastic. the toastie however was below par. the toastie was really little and squished right down to nothing. it was only about 2cm thick, and had barely any filling. pretty disappointing considering it set me back 6$- i could get a lot more for $6 elsewhere. lucky thecoffeeis still good...

had lunch today & was pleasantly surprised. has a 'local suburban' feel, but the food was great. served quickly and was very tasty. i had the gash stack from specials board, wife had a chicken quesadilla which was also good.coffeewas a little cool but ok. will definitely be back.

took my mother in law here for breakfast last week. we were greeted with a smile..always a good start. nice counter food options ..orderedcoffeeand pancakes .. order arrived in good time dispite them being busy.coffeehad a good flavour was good temp which i enjoyed. nice place to sit outside and the additions into the adjoining shop give this once small cafe a open and inviting atmosphere with a modern style. well done guys we enjoyed our visit.

came for breakfast this morning and was super stoked with everything. thecoffeewas good. the food was great, and a decent amount for the price! i had the vege breakfast which was massive and delicious. loved the enivronment and decor, lots of seating too!  fast service. worth a visit.

lunch for two on a week day.
menu wasn't particularly interesting.  somewhat common stuff and a bit dull.  needs a revamp.
staff were a bit detached but not unfriendly.
there were lots of fly's in the place, so i'd advise going crazy with the fly spray at closing time!
the toasty i got was pretty small and unspectacular, but reasonably tasty.  my muffin was over microwaved, but nice.
my partners blat was ok.  coffee good.
cafe set out ok, and they do have window seats, and seats outside which is good.
wouldn't necessarily recommend jacks. there are certainly better cafes around, but also a lot worse to!

in short of being superhuman, this cafe met all my needs. earthy, open, but classy atmosphere. its more amongst a residential area which makes it great for easy parking and access. thecoffeeis good, but the food, atmosphere and service are excellent. there is always a lot of allergy friendly food. i orderedcoffeeand a sweet. the gf lemon delicious will blow your mind. it was perfectly golden on top, with delicious caramelised crunchy surface with the smoothest sweet, light and refreshing lemon centre. one bite per hour is a good pace to savour this crazy goodness. i'll be back. thanks for being awesome.

this place is so so great. thecoffeeis always strong + delicious and the staff are always babes (which is a lil shallow of me but tis true). had many breakfasts / burgers / salads here and they've always been on point. only criticism is mayb a lil less mustard in the aioli but that hardly matters anyway. kia ora jacks!

very busy place but the food comes out quickly.coffeewas really nice and hot. loads of food to choose from- being a vegetarian there were plenty of choice! would come back for sure.

had a nice flat white here, was told it was the best place forcoffeein the tron, i beg to differ. staff weren't very hospitable but all in all it's all it's an okay cafe.

nice environment, funky tunes and clean.. food came out fast and was tasty.. we had the blt and eggs bene with roasty vege.. staff were efficient but could have been friendlier... food prices were ok butcoffeewas a tad on the steep side... yes we would come back if we were ever in hamilton again..

jack's has the bestcoffeeever! i often sneak out durin the lunch hours at school for the coffee.. smooth and aromatic, never fails to satisfy me :)
their desserts are also tasty, but real emphasis on the coffee. convenient parking too

i have stopped in and got my morningcoffeefix on my way to work for almost a year at jacks (oh how i wish you opened monday/tuesday!)

the service is always so fast and friendly! someone is always at the till ready to serve you with a smile.

the barista does the bestcoffeein hamilton (grace is a close second). the food is always delicious and is reasonably priced. as long as they keep doing what they are doing now, i will return.
