the canneloni is amazing can never decide between the meat and chicken. the cheese ones are third place. the pasta alfredo is also great. def a san marcos treasure cheap and great italian

worst expericence with a local resturant yet. called in an order. 1st attempted was to have it delivered since they had already told us that they would deliver through a 3rd party.. was told not unless there are 10 or more people.. 2nd attempt to order the person taking the order was rude and hung up on us. 3rd attempt was told that they do not give to go drinks with the lunch specials even though you pay the same amount that you would dining in.. (not good business).. picked up food and the order was short 2 items.. called and told them this.. they said you can either come get it or there was nothing they could do.. again not good business.. the spaghetti taste like the sauce came from a can. the meat balls taste like the ones from the can as well.. i will not order from this place again..there are several other italian food resturants in lubbock who are willing to deliver, much more friendly to their customers, and just all around better food.. think twice before you go to this resturant..

for lubbock this is probably the most authentic italian food you will find. they have a good selection of different italian dishes to choose from, i picked the pasta trio and my girlfriend has the chicken parmesan.

the pasta trio tasted great. you can tell it's made in house, and has a lot of flavor. my girlfriend is very picky about chicken parm, since her grandmother is italian and makes it perfect, but she really enjoyed her meal!

i wish the restaurant had a little more decoration, it's kind of bland inside, but all in all it was a good experience.

the best italian food that i've found in lubbock. we went with another couple and shared a few apps...great calamari, no greasy, just lightly battered. the others had stuffed mushrooms (i didn't find the marinara/alfredo mix appealing) and seemed pleased with them. the chicken piccata was sinful (though pasta was overlooked, sadly, a common problem in lubbock). we shared a few desserts, including the cannoli (overly sweet, have yet to find one here that isn't). oh!!! don't forget your wine (we forgot, and we were certainly missing it).

my family and i went a second time and found the food to be just as good, if not better! the service was a little "off" but it was our understanding that there were new staff members starting that day. the boys loved their pasta dishes, and my chicken & shrimp was tender and flavourful. try the spumoni cheesecake, it's to die for!!!!

we have been twice now and recommend anything with "pink sauce". we have had great service both times we have visited and the prices are very reasonable.

it's just so good. we are never disappointed. the restaurant is always clean, service is always great and friendly. my personal favorite is the shrimp tortellini. i really enjoy the upfront lemon flavor on the chicken piccata. just go. do it. it's the best. it's such a joy to have such an outstanding family restaurant in this town! pink sauce forever!

great place! everything i've tried has been delicious, authentic, served hot and with a smile. great waitstaff. attentive without being intrusive. don't leave without trying the chocolate cannoli. it's to die for. you won't want to share this dessert!

horrible. food is discusting, and the people that work there are beyond terrible. so rude! i went there one time to pick up a to go order and not only did the staff looked miserable, but a manager, (the employee i had the misfortune of dealing with) was incredibly rude. after that experience i understood the sorry looks on her staff's faces. and as far as the food goes, i threw it away. the worst 15$ chicken pesto i have ever had. do not come here.

outstanding taste & portions. you will never find larger lunch portions, better prices, and better tasting food than italian garden. the yeast rolls served complimentary are amazing and everything i've ever eaten there was outstanding. quick service at lunch. kind/polite wait-staff. great place for small group meetings, as well.

good food, good service. italian garden is a landmark in this college town - but maybe people have forgotten just how good it is because it wasn't very crowded. we did a friday lunch with a special (seafood ravioli) and a menu item (chicken piccata) that was wonderful. prices were very reasonable: $7.95 to $8.95 seems to be the general price - salad was $1 extra. wonderful garlic rolls delivered quickly to the table with our drinks. the place does not offer beer or wine, but you can bring your own. the waitress was very good - asking us repeatedly how things were. (could have done with less). we will go back! but do not, do not park next door at the taco bell. [the garden doesn't have enough parking for their clientele.] you will get towed if taco bell catches you. it happened to me. what was wonderful was italian garden's owner who insisted we take $50 toward the $116 it cost to get my car back. will eat at italian garden again - and will walk there! as it is on the fringes of the texas state campus.

ejoyable experience. we were recommended to try the food by our italian friend. the service was a little slow, but overall the owners and their staff are very kind and take pleasure in serving the customers. the food comes out fresh, piping hot and full of flavor. we also had desert, the canoli was a near to authentic as you can get it here in lubbock texas.

best italian food ever!!!. i recently went here for a birthday dinner. although the size of the place is small they were happy to accommodate a large group of people. we were one of three groups there. the staff was very nice and they did a great job! everything was delicious from appetizers to desserts. the calamari was so good. i had the shrimp tortellini for my entree and if you order this make sure to save some bread(it will be hard trust me) to dip it in the sauce! i also shared a chocolate cannoli and i almost ate the entire thing by myself it was so good. don't be turned off by the location the food is absolutely worth it!

great. the food is wonderful, a little off the beaten path but while worth the trip.
