the concept is good. usually i can say i like or don't like a place, but i'm really in the middle on this one. i like their concept of localbeersand locally sourced foods. the beer selection seems to focus on my least favorite local beers, though, at least when i've been in there. i haven't gone enough to know how frequently they rotate taps, though, so maybe i just missed the days they had things i would prefer. the food i've had was quite tasty, but the portions were very small for the price, especially entrees. service was average. friends of mine have complained about very slow service, but that was not my experience there, so it may vary. another issue is that while the decor and atmosphere give a really modern, metropolitan feel to the place, it doesn't seem their design took acoustics into account. i can hear people several tables away drowning out conversation at my own table...and not because others were very loud, just there is something odd about how sound carries there. i think they have a good concept and some issues can be worked out, so am hoping for improvement in the future.
