get the lobster tacos. now. seriously, go there now and try them. fajitas are delicious as well as the mushroom spinach enchiladas!

austin's 6th street is a huge sausage festival. i don't see why anyone would want to come here.

um, wtf?. location wise, this place is bomb. it has an epic roof top patio.

but, wtf? the service is terrible. i've been a few times and it's slightly worse each time i go. nobody wants to do their job. the place is empty and you can't sit on the good part of the patio if you don't order an entree.

my recommendation? don't go. if you want the best margarita of all time, go to matt's el rancho or curra's. matt's has infinitely better food.

the one thing that iron shactus has going on is the guacamole. it slays. it is amazing. it is their saving grace. but if you go and don't order it, you're and idiot and we can't be friends.

i was there for the pecon festival. the service was a 1.5 of 5, good tequila selection, but not well served when i asked for a flight of reposados (my favorite tequila) as a bar manager i had to ask why they don't serve jose cuervo tradicional chilled, since you suppost to keep that bottle in the fridge. all i got was ; no w/ attitude from the manager and that if i still wanted it. bad choice for customer service.

neat location, poor service. great location, loud inside. the mushroom enchiladas were good, our avocado was bad, service was extremely slow.

the food was great and the service was also very good - considering how busy they were (motorcycle rally week) they did an excellent job keeping up with our table. very tasty!

not a fan. so so food. the chicken enchiladas were blah. my drink was not good- not even what i ordered. there are so many better restaurants in austin. and 6th street is a bit ridiculous these days. go somewhere else.

good fajitas, cool environment. last time i went here, they messed up a couple of orders at my table and the waitress seemed not to care very much. oh well, it happens. the fajitas are a staple. i wouldn't call them the best fajitas my mouth has ever had the pleasure of tasting, but they are very good. their margarita choices are very diverse and very good.

bueno queso!. the queso is real and thick.....sticks to the chips.

this is austin. after a supper round of golf at jimmy clay, we headed to the cactus for some rooftop celebration of ritas, delicious salsas, shrimp tacos, and a few cold ones....life is good.
(service was over the top)

... they serve you with tortillas and salsa – two kinds – that make you want more and more and more. i wish, for the life of me i could remember what was in each of them but what i do know is one was dark red and had quite a kick to it, whereas the second lighter red one was mild. both so unique in taste, and absolutely delicious. if someone goes there and knows the two kinds, please email m

i'm an out of towner in for a visit. the food was yummy and the absolute bellini martini was to die for. the salsas were fresh and fabulous

do not go here. horrible restaurtant, poor food and service. overpriced. the bar staff double charged me and then threatened to call the cops on me. the bartender even grabbed me, and the manager laughed in my face when i complained. go somewhere else

not sure where jeremy ate, but it's not the iron cactus. i ate here this evening with 4 colleagues. service was friendly. food was great. no one is leaving disappointed. everyone indicates they will return. shrimp enchiladas and fajitas were excellent.
