bestindianfood in sa but long drive. i drove from 1604 and culebra here, but the food was worth the long drive. the best dish was the goat curry which had a strong curry seasoning with deliciously tender goat meat. the chicken tikki masala was great of course. the chicken curry wasn't worth mentioning. the sag paneer was amazing. the tomato coconut soup was my wife's favorite but not of mine. the rice pudding was awesome. i'm definitely driving back.

my sense of taste has been growing since i was a child and the pleasure i receive from food is something i cant even describe, but this restaurant left my taste buds in shock.

if you're in the san antonio area and youre looking forindianfood this would be your best choice

went  expecting to order a la carte, but was quickly told to serve ourself from the buffet. we asked the server about the menus, and waited and waited. finally decided to try the buffet. huge disappointment . forindianfood, the dishes lacked flavor and flair. service was lackluster despite the place being empty. plenty of other choices in sa forindianfood.

spicyindianfood and chai tea-yes!!!. i love this restaurant. i go there every time i am in san antonio. they have really good selections on their buffet and lots of customers so that the food is rotated frequently. they have good desserts, too. and they have a frequent diners card so that you get a free meal after so many purchases.

loved it! nice open dinning room, clean and courteous staff. this was one of the bestindianbuffets i've been at here in san antonio. not centrally located but i was in the area. i wasn't disappointed.

great buffet. this is one of the bestindianbuffets in the city for sure. it's fresh, tasty and relatively mild for indian, which is something i appreciate. our waitress looked pissed, but all in all, i love this place!

maybe as a full service restaurant i'd be a fan.. my experience is limited inindiancuisine so my stepson and i took this opportunity to explore with our palettes a bit. i figured a buffet service would give us the most exposure to the cuisine. we were promptly seatly in a rather dark and sparsely furnished dining room. the service was attentive enough but i do wish such a language barrier so as to get more of a description of the food and flavor. we tried a bit of everything and from talking to friends i will say that at least some of the menu items have been americanized accordingly while still retaining an authentic flavor. perhaps a full service with a fully engaged server to provide proper introduction into courses would do great for this establishment. i have a feeling though they are quite comfortable with the level of business they get so i don't see that happening.

i like it for what it is. i've been here several times for the lunch buffet and enjoy it for what it is . .quick, tasty and inexpensive. it is a buffet, after all, and i definitely hold buffets to a lower standard than regular restaurants. i'm no expert onindianfood but the dishes here seem to range from somewhat authentic to totally americanized. the beef curried meatballs, for example, strike me as uniquely american - however i do like them.

i'm not anindianfood expert by any means although i do love it. in my limited knowledge, i would consider the food here to be more northern and therefore pretty mild and not very spicy. for many, this is preferred. for me, i like the heat and tons of flavor in the southern style. give this place a try if you want a good intro toindiancuisine.

ok, but not great. went there around 5pm on a sunday and we were the only people there. after we arrived a few more parties showed up. i thought the buffet had a nice selection of food. all the food was hot and amazingly not dry or overcooked since it looked like it had been sitting there awhile. after a few parties arrived, no employee came out to survey the buffet. they ran out of chicken tikki masala and a customer had to ask a waitress for some more. they should check and replenish the buffet more often so customers won't have to ask for more food. i probably wouldn't return as it's kinda far and i know of otherindianbuffets closer

good comfort food. my friends and i come here very frequently. the food is consistently good, and done with care. we've tried manyindianrestaurants and we always end up coming back to this one. i love their chai tea!

bestindianin sa. great buffet. the chicken tikka masala and tandoori chicken are fabulous. the chai tea is wonderful. service is always great. the naan is delicious. it is consistently great, as i eat here with coworkers at least once a week. for the price, hard to beat.
