delicious, yummy and great service!. i am always impressed with the smile on their face when they greet you at the door. they are so sweet and kind. they have delicious food and great customer service. i always go back :) highly recommend it.

i absolutely love the food they serve!   this is also my first review.
the first time i went there i had their lunch buffet which was amazing! the staff is great too! the nan is just perfect! then i decided i'd be back for more, so later on, when i went there again i tried the food on their menu. which was, like the buffet, fresh, authentic, and very tasty. the prices were great for me! then i found out that they had started online ordering. which i had to definitely try! so i ordered my personal favorites. which are : the garlic naan, chicken korma, mixed vegetables, mango lassi, and for dessert gulab jamun. i have tried online ordering before and my experiences don't go very well usually, but everything with this order was pretty much perfect. it was on time, fresh and ready to eat, and unlike other online ordering places this did not disappoint me at all! and so, this restaurant remains my favorite.

best indian food in sa but long drive. i drove from 1604 and culebra here, but the food was worth the long drive. the best dish was the goat curry which had a strong curry seasoning with deliciously tender goat meat. the chicken tikki masala was great of course. the chicken curry wasn't worth mentioning. the sag paneer was amazing. the tomato coconut soup was my wife's favorite but not of mine. the rice pudding was awesome. i'm definitely driving back.

my sense of taste has been growing since i was a child and the pleasure i receive from food is something i cant even describe, but this restaurant left my taste buds in shock.

if you're in the san antonio area and youre looking for indian food this would be your best choice

very open seating establishment. the menu has very common dishes and is set in a buffet style. not very traditional in regards to the spice level, especially the curry dishes. outside of their naan bread, the samosas and their desert dishes, the rest of the menu is mediocre at best regarding flavour.

love this place.  front man is a very friendly gentleman.  the food is great.  i am not a veggie kind of guy but their veggie dishes are great.  food ranges from mild to spcy which i like.  love their lentil soup.  i have been back many times. kind of hard to find at first, but once i did, have been back many time.  and the naan bread is fantastic.

went here and had the dinner buffet. most of the food was pretty good, the desserts didn't look that great. restaurant was kind of dingy and had an overpowering spice smell which made me nauseous. they did have online coupons.

went there for lunch on a tuesday and had the buffet. everything was very good - food and service. the tikka masala is the best i've had in sa. the only thing i didn't love was the texture of breading/pastry of the samosas - they weren't bad, though.

went  expecting to order a la carte, but was quickly told to serve ourself from the buffet. we asked the server about the menus, and waited and waited. finally decided to try the buffet. huge disappointment . for indian food, the dishes lacked flavor and flair. service was lackluster despite the place being empty. plenty of other choices in sa for indian food.

spicy indian food and chai tea-yes!!!. i love this restaurant. i go there every time i am in san antonio. they have really good selections on their buffet and lots of customers so that the food is rotated frequently. they have good desserts, too. and they have a frequent diners card so that you get a free meal after so many purchases.

loved it! nice open dinning room, clean and courteous staff. this was one of the best indian buffets i've been at here in san antonio. not centrally located but i was in the area. i wasn't disappointed.

yum! consistently fresh and tasty!
there aren't too many buffets that i will eat at if it's not a "peak" meal time. too many buffets make big batches of food that sit and get overlooked or worse. but i never worry about that at taj palace. here it is at 8:30 on a wednesday night and the food is the same as it always is - good! everything is full and fresh! never had a bad experience here and service is always great.
