extreme elegance. this place is amazing. i made a reservation online (opentable) and was thrilled with the convenience of it. i had written a note stating that i was celebrating a birthday, and shortly after sitting down, the server and manager stopped by the table to wish me (by name) a happy birthday. service was beyond excellence, and the food was spectacular. i'd definately reccommend this restaurant to anyone celebrating aspecialoccasion, or wanting to impress a company executive.

if you have aspecialoccasion and want an intimate place to eat and celebrate, then this is your place. we love the aged steaks and the fresh and delicious sides are amazing. service is a nice pace, not rushed just timely.

great food, terrible service. we made reservations on a saturday night to celebrate aspecialdate. the night started great with prompt seating and attentive service. we each ordered the most expensive special, wine, app, salad, and even some champagne to start off. it was going great until the entree came. it was the wrong order on both (filet & crab vs. filet & lobster). i'm not sure what happened next, but from that point forward, our server seem to cut her losses and focus entirely on the other tables. we litterally could not send it back, as she never came by. we both had empty glasses of wine and water for no less than 20 minutes. the food was delicious top to bottom, but when dropping hundreds of dollars i expected way more. you do not always get what you pay for, and i will never step foot in that place again...

iii forks is out of controlspecialoccasion. it’s almost like you shouldn’t be there unless you have something to celebrate. never has there been more of aspecialoccasion explosion than in this building during dinner friday night. if ever the word debacle fits perfectly it’s here. there was a debacle of birthdays at iii forks. sparklers were spraying sparks all over the place. we decided to jump on this birthday party train as soon as our server asked why we were at iii forks. everyone else in the building had a purpose, so why didn’t we? while pondering in thought, our drinks were delivered. even though our drinks had the same name, mine was a bit different. his glass was clean as a whistle, while mine had some kind of gnarly thick crusty film covering it from top to bottom. my husband did not feel like having any kind of dinner drama. sending a dirty glass back to the bar will always result in unwanted drink drama. is it my fault this glass is rank? hello? our server

the ambiance!. took my gf here for her birthday on a saturday night- i had never been here before myself and did not know what to expect other that it was supposed to be pretty fancy.

you walk in and it is quite exquisite. you had the grand piano with an old school crooner doing this thing. it's that feeling of stepping back in time that i really enjoy. we had reservations and got seated right away. the waiter was chipper, finding out he does stand up comedy on the side. awesome.

let's get to the food. bread was ok, it was just...bread. appetizer was outstanding, lean beef on crispy crackers with some kind of sauce. melted in my mouth and would order again. the main course was a ny strip with creamed corn, mashed potatoes, and veggies. the ny strip was good, although not quite as good as what i was expecting for the price - i want to try the filet next time. the creamed corn and potatoes were above average but not excellent. the desert was some kind of almond cake (i think) which was delicious.

would i go back? yes, for veryspecialoccasions and/or around the holidays. besides those instances i will stick to the cheaper, yet still quality, steakhouses such as outback and texas roadhouse.

very fine food!. yo peeps, this food is so fine! tates fresh from the freaking oven! i always go here forspecialoccasions or such, but oh my god! awesome!

best steakhouse in dallas ! great place for aspecialoccasion. best filet ever (get it with lump crab meat- delish). very expensive but you won't be disappointed. the server will ask you if "everything is perfect?" that's how good it is.

love it! my fiancé proposed to me there and we were treated like royalty. great forspecialoccasions and my 2 pieces of cake are still at the top of my pastry list. can't wait for more!

unique experience and great value. some people think iii forks is over the top texan, but having experienced many of the dallas area steak houses, i can guarantee you will get no better value for your money anywhere in town. here, your sides are included with the price of the meal, and they are superb. the steaks are always cooked perfectly and are the highest quality. frequently the owners circulate and chat you up and this is a big place. the decor is big texas but tasteful and an experience you will never forget. aspecialtreat is restaurant week if you can get reservations. a great way to sample the best for less! one of our favorites.
