a wonderful restaurant, for families or date night. club vista is always a great location particularly for outside terrace seating. a popular restaurant and you know why when you eat here.
fantastic seafood, menu or choose your fish at the counter. we choose to share jumbo prawns, red snapper with various salads. the food andservicedid not disappoint.

update:

due to our first experience we went back to the restaurant with friends from europe living by the sea.
this time we ordered after the starters that were great again fish in salt. unfortunately, the fish was a desaster, overcooked and chewy and inedible. the manager explained that all their fish arrives like that since they use a automatic cooking procedure - seriously?!? this happening in a fish speciality restaurant was already - surprising. he basically suggested that we had no clue and did not even offer from his side to remove or exchange it. only after complaining to the next manager, they offered to bring something else. they choose for us king fish fillet - just another catastrophe- outside the fish was looking nice but inside it was frozen!!
we did explain this to the manager who shrugged his shoulders and could not care less.
of course they fully charged us for the first inedible fish - so much to customerserviceto returning clients! after another complaint they agreed to charge only the king fish returned as well that was frozen inside as it was slightly cheaper.
what a terrible experience!
it can happen that something goes wrong, even twice but it is the restaurant managers duty to give the guests a good experience and if something is visibly not ok it has to be fixed.
to serve such inedible quality as a "fish specialist" is already questionable but to insist semi-frozen fish is good and even fully charge for it just a slap in a client's face!
even if the location andservicewas good, after this experience we will rather try another vista mare outlet next time.

all in all, it’s our favorite restaurant. for family and business affairs, it’s the perfect dinning experience.serviceis amazing, especially our regular waiter hani. everyone always welcomes us with a great smile. food is amazing and the view is spectacular.

great seafood place in vista mare. went a couple of times and was always pleased by the overall experience.serviceis pro, food very fresh and tasty and staff friendly.

great place if you want a mix of seafood, lebanese food, alcohol and outdoor seating.

went there on a friday afternoon with family. the weather was nice to sit on the terrace which was almost full.
the warm welcome from the hostess was excellent, so friendly and professional. we were asked to wait sometime inside until they find a table for us. it did not take much until we were seated on a table beside the beach view.
the waitress gave us a small piece of papers with a number on it and asked us to chose our fishes from the display inside the shop.
the chef is the one who is supporting and explaining on the display. my wife if pregnant and thus his recommendations came due to his knowledge of what kinds she can have among the displayed items. luckily we have google, so we searched and find out that he recommended the right items... thanks chef.
the kitchen is an open space where you can see how the others chefs are cooking your fish.
you can have it fried, baked and grilled; we went for grilled as per chef recommendations.
all fishes are without a doubt fresh.
and then the food came.
mutabal and fattouch for starters. mutabal are great, however fattouch can be better.
the fishes are supper amazing, cooked to perfection with soft texture and excellent seasoning.
i will be honest to say i did not expect this quality, however they exceeded my expectations.
service team are amazing and friendly, although you don't need them much when you start eating because they will make sure whatever you need is on the table, however they are always around in case.
the manager surprisingly was on duty although his hand seemed to be broken and covered with gypsum, but was there to ensure that all are perfect. a lovely young man with a professional approach and  great sense of humor. he is genuine about theserviceand seemed to care much about his customers experience.
at the end, they gave us a pot of water a lemon so we can wash out hands from the sticky fishes and offered us some fruits.
all in all this place is where you want to go every time you crave fresh seafood :-)

celebrated a birthday here for 10 people during a holiday. it was busy, but the tableservicewas excellent! hani was very attentive, friendly and made sure everything was served on time.
suggesting to order the catch of the day at the same time as the appetisers as it takes 30-45mins to prepare. the chargrilled prawns were amazing, great for sharing as it was massive! great with lemon butter sauce. we also ordered sea salt catch of the day - red snapper which was a hit, very tasty!
appetisers were also very good especially the fried eggplant and cauliflower and sardines.
lovely place to eat at especially during dubai winter time.

this is not the first time to visit ibn al bahar restaurant. the food andserviceremain super. the variety of food is great and the portions are generous. the quality is always top. this time we were greeted by mr hani and he was very pleasant and hospitable. we will keep coming back for more delicious food!

although the fresh fish, food and beach make this restaurant a great place for a family lunch, what absolutely makes it outstanding and exceptional is the amazing and spectacularserviceof two individuals, sandra and kenan. sandra runs the place like she owns and is brilliant. she remembers every detail, finds solutions and makes every customer feel like a king. as for kenan, his excellent and quickservicehumbled us as we didn’t even need to ask or say and he already had it done! these 2 individual make this place extra special!
