update:
due to our first experience we went back to the restaurant with friends from europe living by the sea.
this time we ordered after the starters that were great again fish in salt. unfortunately, the fish was a desaster, overcooked and chewy and inedible. the manager explained that all their fish arrives like that since they use a automatic cooking procedure - seriously?!? this happening in a fish speciality restaurant was already - surprising. he basically suggested that we had no clue and did not even offer from his side to remove or exchange it. only after complaining to the next manager, they offered to bring something else. they choose for us king fish fillet - just another catastrophe- outside the fish was looking nice but inside it was frozen!!
we did explain this to the manager who shrugged his shoulders and could not care less.
of course they fully charged us for the first inedible fish - so much to customer service to returning clients! after another complaint they agreed to charge only the king fish returned as well that was frozen inside as it was slightly cheaper.
what a terrible experience!
it can happen that something goes wrong, even twice but it is the restaurant managers duty to give the guests a good experience and if something is visibly not ok it has to be fixed.
to serve such inedible quality as a "fish specialist" is already questionable but to insist semi-frozen fish is good and even fully charge for it just a slap in a client's face!
even if the location and service was good, after this experience we will rather try another vista mare outlet next time.
