try the scallops!. i've always enjoyed houlihans from time to time but it's a bit expensive... the dishes are a cut above your standard chain restaurant but many of them approach the $20 to $25 mark which is a bit pricey for this area. anyways my suggestions are the scallops (delicious), and their cocktails are worth a try. its a hugemenuand some of it can be hit or miss, so ask a lot of questions!

the food here is very tasty and they’re not afraid to use good seasoning on everything. their giant mushroom balls are incredible and there’s a very tasty scallop dish on their menu.

the only problem is theirmenunever changes we’ve been going there seven years or more maybe three times a year, and except for a few specials nothing has changed on their menu.

if you haven’t been here, i definitely recommend it and if you have a favorite dish that you’ve had, i can guarantee it’ll still be available even if you had it years ago, but a stalemenufor return customers is always a sad thing at any eatery.

seared ahi tuna and fish tacos!!. a recent road trip had me staying at a hotel down the street so we decided to walk over and give houlihan's a try. i really enjoyed our visit here and found the food to be very good. there wasn't that many people there when we went and found the service to be a little slow, partly because the servers were all gathered around talking and having fun while their customers were left waiting.

houlihan's has a slightly upscale feel to it but is really casual. there is indoor and outdoor seating and plenty of happy hour specials. our favorites were their ahi tuna appetizer and tilapia fish tacos. outside of the slower than expected service everything else about this trip left us willing to return if our travels ever took us this way again. they have a wide variety on theirmenuso wouldn't mind trying a few other items during our next visit.

good for a late dinner. a recent road-trip found us nearby - instead of a diner meal, we opted for this since it had a much broader offering.

even though it was reasonably late on a sunday evening (2030h), we were greeted pleasantly and seated. themenuis quite large and extensive but also has some smaller portions which is great for late diners.

i opted for the signature tuscan bean salad and french onion soup. the salad was interesting but a bit small even for a light dinner. the salad uses chopped lettuce, white beans, chopped tomato and goat cheese with an oil/balsamic vinegar dressing which was very tasty. the accompanying tuscan toast was handy to push the chopped salad components onto the fork and also to mix the oil and balsamic. the french onion soup was, as expected, french onion soup - nice melted cheese on top with a rich beef broth and caramelized onions.

overall the experience was good - not spectacular and not terrible - nice work!!

disappointed. i went to houlihan's with high hopes after good things i've heard about the chain. however, the service was not good and themenuis a bit too pricey for the poor quality of food served.

i wouldn't visit the brick location again.
