horrible…only 2 small muttonpiecesare there that too bone please if you don’t have mutton briyani at night pls put mutton briyani is not available pls don’t waste our money we are paying ₹ 360 but it’s not worth at all…lot of time i gone directly to eat mutton briyani i enjoyed always as a same we have ordered but we lost their reputation about the kalayana briyani hotel (poor parcel services)

just had 4 smallpiecesof mutton meat and these cost over 340rs. taste is also poor

take and quantity was fine with the food but there are only 2 smallpiecesand one bone was in the biriyani which i didn't expect at all i won't accept this as mutton biriyani and i would still consider this as plain biriyani only, won't order again. thank you

1st i go with chicken briyani ..was too good , well marinatedpieces& pakka taste ..!

then chicken 65 briyani . thats plain briyani stuffed with chicken 65 ..! that chicken 65 was awesome & great taste

and finally my fav... mutton briyani ..! the well marinatedpiecesof mutton vera level taste & fully aroma packed product...!

after a few of my friends suggested me to try out the biryani here, as they said it has a "marriage walla biryani taste" as the name suggests, i gave it a shot.
so i loved the biryani taste here, even the muttonpieceswere nicely cooked and tender. even the chicken biryani has a really nice flavor. haven't tried their 65 biryani yet.
haven't been to the restaurant, so can't comment anything on the ambience or dine in experience.
only con is the price we are paying is pretty high for the quantity of biryani. although the taste of the biryani is amazing and u won't be disappointed.

kalyana bhavan biryani - in between a muslim wedding biryani and typical chennai biryani. we cannot it move it to either of the category fully.
the flavor was 65% matching with muslim wedding biryani and 35% chennai biryani, because, it was more spicy than a wedding biryani.
coming to the price, it was not having the quantity compared to the price, but the taste was good, but not wonderful. not enoughpieceson the biryani, which was a little disappointing. also, thepiecesavailable is mostly full of bones. no much flesh.
coming to chicken 65, it is not boneless. also, the quantity is comparitively lesser.
if you want to have the flavor of both chennai and bhai biryani, you can go for it.
the location was in a congested area due to which, you cannot go on car and have a lunch. either, you have to go to get a parcel or to park somewhere else and come here for dining in.

worst biriyani. both mutton and chicken briyani were too dry. chicken biriyani was too spicy. biriyani will not be hot. customer service was so poor. you will get only one big piece of chicken/mutton and egg will not be there in biriyani. 390 rupees for both chicken and mutton biriyani(which has no taste,no sufficientpiecesetc) was a total bullshit

had lunch at this place on a sunday. by 2 pm, only mutton biriyani was available. so ordered one. quantity was good. service was quick.

muttonpieceswere cooked well. coming to the taste, biriyani was very dry. as it was very spicy, i couldn't enjoy it.

the biriyani served tastes like the same that is served in marriages of tamilnadu muslims. one portion of biriyani will make your tummy full. thepiecesof mutton are good, soft and juicy. little over your budget but worth visiting.

rice is too dry, not worth for 100 also, it doesn't have taste of biriyani chickenpiecesare seems like cooked a day before

sometimes over expectation leads to bad..with lots of expectation i ordered briyani here it went bad...all chicken 65 over burnt, muttonpieceswere taste like chewing gum, raitas curd taste bad and sweet is very very bad...it is recommended to have briyani here in afternoon only...pls avoid briyani here for dinner (tested)....

i seriously don’t know why there is so much hype for this restaurant for their biriyani.
stepped in here for an early lunch on a weekend, and was relieved much as we found it was scantily populated. the ambience is average, with usual tables and chairs and could accommodate up to 30 max.
we need to get the tokens before we place our order. went for 1 mutton and chicken biriyani. i always love to have food in ‘thala vazhai’ banana leaf. we were greeted with the thalai vazhai leaf which was followed by kesari and the usual onion raitha and brinjal gravy!
i must admit that the aroma of the exuberant dish was filled over the entire place. soon were greeted with both chicken and mutton biriyani.
i found that the quantity were quite minimal when compared to other biriyani outlets.
so was the biriyani good ? nah!!! it was just average.
it was mildly spicy and the taste were blatant. the spices and the tomato’s were mashed up with the rice and was found as chunks all over the biriyani.
must admit that the muttonpieceswere quite more, but this obviously reduces the rice quantity. the mutton was so scrumptious and cooked so well 👌
overall, the biriyani were just palatable, dry and average! service was just ok.
