we heard about this restaurant on google by many food bloggers so visited here on our aurangabad trip and tried their mutton and chickenthaliboth were awesome
washrooms and other services are very clean ambience was good

great place to dine at, occasionally. moderately priced, i’ve heard the chickenthaliis too tasty at the restaurant but i haven’t tried it yet.

i've ordered 2 chicken malvanithaliand they delivered only 1 ...also food quality is not up to the mark

it's very rare nowadays that one finds himself or herself satiated with food. last night was one such very rare occasion. i've been to a plethora of jazzy and fancy places all over mumbai, and everytime, the pretentious portions really have turned me off. a meal at green olive was all i needed to make me smile on a long post diwali saturday. and i have to say, i was all smiles. the meal was that good. everything right from the perfectly roasted papad to the incredibly succulent (and the right balance of sugar) caramel custard. my evening started on a sombre note as we called for the drinks and appetizers. beer and rose wine it was (and i was rather glad that rose wine was available) and we went for a combination of something very cliché for my starters ( a chicken banjara portion and something called as paneer matka )
i must say, i don't remember the last time i had such a succulent, juicy and incredibly well prepared chicken kebab. it made me happy. it hit the sweet spot. paneer starters usually do not incite any emotion but this was different, it was just fantastic !
to add on, an additional plate of tandoori pyaaz was served with my starters. and indian starters go well only with pyaaz. loved it.
the appetizers made me very full. i hardly had any hardcore enthusiasm left for the mains. so i took a break and we went with a portion of their authentic amazing dum chicken biryani.
and voila ! we sure feasted. the way the flavours accentuated the very tender and well cooked meat along with the flaky rice made me swoon.
another highlight is their special kolhapurithaliand authentic speciality dishes usually not served anywhere. i was informed that the masala used is made every single day, as fresh as it gets; moreover, it is a family secret and the end result is just wow ! don't remember the last time i had such an authentic chicken curry with the traditional tambda and pandhra rassa having such a balanced flavour palette. i'll go short on adjectives if i'd to describe every dish i've had here. i settled for a caramel custard and a kulfi for dessert. and as expected, it was spot on.
we ended the meal totally satiated topping it off with shots of paan. rather creative. all the fantastic food coupled with an incredible and warm staff made my evening and i thoroughly enjoyed. i couldn't ask for more.
5 stars out of 5 it is. do not miss the food here if you're in town. if you live here, junk all the so called good places and head here. you won't regret it. thanks a ton team green olive !

ps : i learnt that the property is soon inaugurating their all veg restaurant to be called maharashtra darbar and the highlight is their maharashtrianthalito be whipped up in their all veg kitchen which i'm sure will knock off the roof with the special family secret recipes. i'm really looking forward to it.

ambience is good, the same goes for service. kolhapurithalidoes not do justice with the name if you are hoping to get sweat. buffet is also available.

last night mom and me went to hotel green olive as they just introduced a new kohlapuri thali! they have both chicken and mutton options available and we opted for the mutton thali. thethalihad mutton keema, mutton curry, raita, tambda rassa and pandra rassa! everything was very authentic and cooked in typical kolhapuri style. the tamba rassa was the spicer one and the pandra rassa made from cocunut milk perfectly balanced out the spiciness. my mouth is still watering while writing this entry. for those who cannot take the spice, you can call for a less spicer version and the wonderful staff at green olive will happily oblige. they also have a starter called the mutton lonche (mutton pickle), which was super yum too!

after the spicy meal, do try their doodhi halwa to complete the perfect kolhapuri meal!😍

was in aurangabad for a short trip and was staying at olive green which had this restaurant there. 1st day we thought we'll try their thali. so they had mutton thali,chicken thali, veg thali. since we were a big group we ordered different thalis. muttonthalithe meat was so tender it was a delight. chickenthaliwas good too for non mutton eaters. lovely food and very very very spicy but delicious. one night we had buffet dinner there, veg and non veg starters both were amazing. starters were quite different too. 2 types of soups awesome, salads were fresh too. overall a very tasty foodie experience.

once again i wanted to highlight few things about this restaurant d curry house, fill n chill lounge bar @ hotel green olives aurangabad.

they have amazing biryani which can be ordered 1 plus kg for your house party. sufficient for 4.
good spread of buffet (veg and non-veg)
they are famous for theirthali(veg and non-veg)
nice selection of a la catre at good price.

ambience is just perfect for the evening. olives look and that olive colour interior makes it's romantic and wow.

service staff, from manager to server. all associate looks happy to work at the place. that makes the customer happy.

fill n chill - western lounge bar. varities of cocktails and mocktail at the place.
what i like is the beer they serve. u get chilled beed and a chilled glass, that makes the perfect combition.

selection of starters for lounge is from indian kababs to asian spring rolls or mommus to fish n chips from united kingdom.

over all i had visited many times and got the best service. not just to me but to all guest who had visited to the place.

i was visiting aurangabad from chicago and i ate at this restaurant over the course of my stay at hotel green olive. they have a wide variety of cuisine options ranging from traditional indian to indo chinese and continental. i got a chance to try all of these cuisines and the food here was delicious to say the least. the non vegthaliwas my favorite, it reminded me of home made food! i also liked the desserts that they had to offer and the pan shots that were given at the end of all your meals. hands down one of the best restaurants in aurangabad!

a good hotel is always complemented by a good food and beverage outlet. the exact same goes for d' curry house in hotel green olive.
the restaurant has nice ambiance and good music.
talking about the food, the exclusiveness is the shrimp soup and is a must. chunks of shrimps are added in a creamy soup which makes it a delight.
the butter chicken is one of the best in aurangabad.

the muttonthaliis a delight for all those foodies seeking out a spicy maharashtrian delecact.

overall, a must visit restaurant.

the best hotel for dining and eating non-vegthaliin aurangabad. we enjoyed dinner very much even my daughter also enjoyed it very much....
