let me start by saying, "there is no perfect restaurant".period.

that being said, there are quite a few restaurants which are consistent in terms of their taste and service and d'curry house does exactly that which is why, at present, they are high up among my favourite go-to places in aurangabad (there, i said it!)

what made me give them a near perfect score you ask?
well, as i mentioned, there is no perfect restaurant.they always have an off day or a certain irate customer who doesn't like the food being prepared a certain way etcetera etcetera. those five star reviews you see on zomato are usually personal experiences worth five stars (or rigged reviews, sadly)

but the consistency of this restaurant in providing a very good taste and an amazing service every time i visit them, is the reason for this high rating.

the first thing that hits you (figuratively) once you enter, is the ambiance. it exudesqualityand sophistication that belongs to a costlier, higher-star hotel (if you know what i mean). the service right from the moment you enter, is much better than majority of the restaurants i've been to. the mild lighting, the furniture, and the well sorted out spaces, all contribute to a very good experience. the fact that they are a small-ish place with just around 14 tables doesn't bother me much since they are sparsely occupied whenever i visit them.

the food that they serve takes around 20 minutes to prepare (their words, not mine) so order accordingly to avoid waiting for a long time between courses. the captain, mr. ramesh, has been there since we started going there and is by far one of the best 'captains' we have encountered. their entire wait-staff including the manager (his name escapes me) are equally good, very polite and quite efficient as well.

i have tried many of their dishes over time and though i like their indian fare i especially love their continental and oriental options. they are a bit expensive, i totally agree, but the taste and thequalityis impeccable 90% of the time (nobody's perfect)

my personal suggestions would be any of their pastas (the penne alfredo, especially), their pan-fried noodles (one of my favourites) or even their prawns fried rice (which is a pit pricey for the quantity they serve, imho). if you are in a group of 3 or 4 i would strongly recommend that you try their kabab (non-vegetarian) platter. it is a bit pricey, again but really well made and presented like all their dishes.

they do have a buffet everyday but i steer clear of it because even though it may be good it is not exceptional or worth the price they command (again, my humble opinion. others may beg to differ)

their summer special drinks are a welcome addition. the kairi panna (broadly translated,raw mango juice) is the best 25 bucks i've ever spent, and i mean it!

and lastly their 'paan-shot' (one shot of a minty concoction) is a welcome parting gift, whenever you leave.

in conclusion, they are a bit pricey and not easy on the pocket at all but thequalityand taste that they provide makes me go there for special occasions, but not as frequently as i want to. reducing their prices may not be a feasible option for them, i presume but it would be a welcome move for people like me who would then 'be able to' visit them more often!

nevertheless, they are, at present, one of my favourite restaurants in aurangabad!

we ordered a biryani but instead we got simple yellow coloured rice which was utterly bland. extremely disappointed. wasn’t expecting such aqualityfrom green olive... simply forgettable experience.

we visited this place yesterday as we wanted to have some good non-veg food. the place has 4.5+ rating. they are not serving any cold drinks or mock-tails. we ordered two chicken starters. both dishes were too salty and all we can taste is salt only. we returned one dish and they brought a new one. it was also salty. our whole experience of dine-in was ruined.
the cost of the starters are 350+ per dish andqualityis below average.
the service is also not good.
i will never visit this place and i would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

i've ordered 2 chicken malvani thali and they delivered only 1 ...also foodqualityis not up to the mark

we ordered paneer tikka masala,too much oil was there even it was coming out of packing

this restaurant is very good. the ambience is very soothing and i feel like being there often. the staff is courteous and display excellent hospitality. the foodqualityis highly appreciated. i relish it always. just yesterday i felt that kadhai chicken was too spicy... even my fly members felt it was very very spicy. fish tikka was marvellous. i enjoy being here to throw a feast to my taste buds. recently i visited this restaurant with my real sister who was here on a holiday from us... she was all praise for this place, the snacks we ate that time were mind-blowing, tasty, fresh and yummy. the washroom is so clean and fragrant... all high class amenities here make you feel so comfortable and worth the money we shell out ...i must congratulate the owner for owning such a nice classy restaurant... thanxxx for making my visits memorable to his restaurant...

ive been here a couple of times. the food is amazing and the variety they offer is also very good. it is a feast for both your stomach and your eyes. thequalityof food that is offered completely justifies the pricing. one of the best restaurant's i have ever been to. the ambience of this place is also fenomenal. you can hang out with friends, celebrate any occasion or can just sit back and relax. the complete setup of the restaurant is well planned and its worth every penny you pay. the staff is very professional and friendly. they serve you like a family member and treat you extremely well. anyone who is willing to try some flavoursome food with goodqualityand great hospitality must try green olive.

i had visited this place even before..but today i oprd for buffet...firstly ths ppl are very slow in service wen u entr the htl nd luking for ur food ordr..foodqualityis very nice but in buffet i had to ask abt the starter menu which i askd thy served the other starter buffet dishes wen asked..ambience is good bt please improve your service..one more thing i can see 4 to 5 staff ppl on floor still i have to call thm fr my ordr..thats a very turn off thing for a hotel with such a big name
