left drunken jacks for some real food treasure!. all i can say is you may actually have to be hammered it like drunken jacks!
hot fish club had all the great food and clean atmosphere we were looking for. the waitress was awesome, the kids meals were tasty and priced right! the pomegranate margarita was off the chain good! what a great meal and time. i even spoke with the owners husband and had a laugh about our drunken jacks experience. last time we fall for the tourist trap from hell. we are across the street many years ago, but now that the fresh grilled options are available at thehotfish club why go elsewhere? can't wait to buy a house down here and eat here all the time!

excellent food and service!! thehotfish platter with scallops was just what the hungry belly ordered. the breading did not take away from the freshness of the fish, shrimp, scallops or oysters.

i decided to try a restaurant in murrell's inlet since myrtle beach restaurants are an epic fail. found this place on yelp and decided to try it. the inside is nice and there's also a great view of the marsh. the front chairs outside on the porch had lots of pollen on them, so a good wipe down could've been great for guests to sit. all restaurants should remember it's the small details that customers see and hold in their minds as a decision to return to a restaurant or not, also including what their food consists of as well. first up, i tried the corn chowder which tasted pretty good but wasn'thotenough and was a bit too thick in texture. next i tried the she crab soup which was really disgusting, so i sent it back. for my entree, i tried the crab stuffed shrimp which came with grilled veggies and rice on the side. the shrimp were pretty bland and could've used a little seasoning and could've been grilled because they had more of a boiled taste to them. the crab stuffing just wasn't good. the rice was cold, bland and gummy. the grilled veggies had the right taste but unfortunately they were still a bit too raw, so they had a big bite to them. the waiter was really great and he helps design some of the menu items. he replaced my veggies with whole fried okra. i thought it would be good but it wasn't. the failure was frying whole okra. the batter had a good flavor but it slid right off the okra when trying to bite into it. you couldn't get your teeth through the okra because it just wasn't cooked thoroughly and still had that slimy okra texture to the skin. slicing the okra into small pieces would've insured they were cooked throughout. to me, they could use a lot of updating on the food, textures, flavors and heating preparation. some of the food almost made me believe it wasn't cooked upon order. it seems as if some of the items were already made previously. i was told they are in the process of changing some things on the menu, and the okra was one. the crab stuffing should be changed as well, it should have more of a fresh crab, minus whatever else is mixed in it. and they could do without the bread biscuits or whatever they are called. if the menu and items change, i'd go back and give them another try. i hope the chef sees my concerns and take them into consideration. my drink by the way was the best thing i had at the restaurant.

in a league of its own. we had the pleasure of dining here two nights in a row. on both occasions, the food was outstanding and the service was excellent. i really enjoyed the filet served with blackened shrimp; the steak was more tender and flavorful than a steakhouse. my husband loved the oysters rockefeller and their red snapper special. the kids meals are also delicious, well-portioned, and well-priced. everyone in our party of ten agreed that thehotfish club has set the bar high and all competitors fall very short!

we had an absolutely fantastic experience athotfish club. we enjoyed it so much the first night, friends came into town and we went there again the very next evening. new had the blue crab fondue for an appetizer and it was delicious. for our entrees, we had the seafood cioppino and the shrimp and scallop carbonara. both meals were very good. the second night, i had thehotfish plate and my wife had the chargrilled grouper. again, both were excellent. do yourself a favor and skip over the other murrells inlet eateries and head directly tohotfish club!!

an amazing experience!!!!!!. we went tohotfish club while visiting some relatives in south carolina. this place is amazing! it is set right on the water and has some great scenic views. the food was phenomenal, i recommend the lobster pot pie, it was the best pot pie i have ever had. the atmosphere was a lot of fun. they had a jungle gym for kids to play on as well as an island bar (with 3 serving stations!) with live bands for those who are looking for a fun night. the drinks are amazing! (pomegranate margarita!) our server was a fun cheeky girl who was extremely attentive. i cannot speak more highly of this place, definitely a must go! and a highlight of our vacation. i can’t wait to go back!

hot fish club inc.. my family and i come to myrtle beach every summer for our family vacation and we always try and go to the same places to eat dinner. this year we wanted to try something new and we foundhotfish club on urbanspoon.com. it had other great reviews and the menu looked very tasty and reasonably priced, so we decided to try it out. we got there right as they opened for dinner, the hostess was very friendly and she took us right to a table in the dining room, you have a choice to sit in the dining room or the outside patio. our server was very upbeat and very personable she was very efficient. the best part of the dinner experience was the crab clusters. for $12.95 you get 2 very large clusters of crab legs. which were veryhotand tasty when they came out. i was afraid that finding crab legs that cheap they wouldn't be worth anything, but i was totally wrong. it was a wonderful dining experience and we will be going back there next year when we are here.
