it might be known more for being a bar rather than a restaurant, however,hopscotchstill serves up an acceptable meal. i opted for the pork belly and i find myself teetering on the fence about the meal. the pork was tender, the vegetables were crispy and the mash worked well as a bedding for the two, however, everything could have been cooked just that little bit better.
i'd rather wait 5 minutes longer and receive a crispy pork belly rather than a soft fatty exterior (which was the case here). i'd also prefer freshly prepared potato mash, rather than lukewarm mash obviously prepared earlier in the day.
