we were seated promptly and the waitress let us know when a table was available inside. friendlyserviceall around, and very pretty desserts!

we had the vanilla panna cotta with berries. the panna cotta had a really nice wobble and the berries complimented it perfectly thus not making it an overly sweet or heavy dessert. it was quite busy on a sat night but theservicewas still quite fast.

honey badger gets full points on location,serviceand ambiance. the simplistic yet stylish cafe is very welcoming and serves some delicious looking desserts.

unfortunately couldn't try a whole lot of food but did stop by to try their black panookie! a little overpriced but delicious never the less. the brownie was well cooked albeit a little too sweet. loved the way the panookie was served.

the happy tummy waffles was nice. i was happy that it wasn't overly sweet however the waffles were a bit cold and i couldn't put my finger on it but it was a bit bland...? something was missing since i got bored eating it halfway through.

what disappointed me was the service, or lack of. not at any fault to the lady serving at the counter who was friendly and nice however it was the system i was unhappy with. the whole take your own menu and sit down, then get up to order at the counter, carry your own cutlery to the table and lay it out yourself and carry your own water and cups to the table seemed more pub style than cafe to me... i have never been to a cafe that felt so much like we had to serve ourselves. honestly,serviceis part of the experience and that's what left me disappointed. i doubt i'll go back now.

i got the white bookie which not only looked amazing but was so tasty and despite what you might think was actually quite light and not a really heavy dessert.

greatserviceand staff, would visit again.

i'm a sucker for a creme brulee and the matcha one here was very good. the sticky date was just as it should be, lathered in decadent dark sauce. the smores dish was extremely hot but once it cooled a little the moist choc cookie base was delicious and went so well with the icecream and toasted marshmellow. for breakfast it was waffles with matcha icecream, matcha dust and matcha sauce with red beans - the red bean was fresh and so delicious.serviceis efficient.

stopped in for a coffee and ended up staying for lunch. the food has a bit of a hipster vibe about it, but oh your god it's delicious. if you're watching your weight, prepare to watch it increase just a little bit. i promise it's totally worth it.servicewas the friendliest we experienced in all of tasmania, and that's saying something, as it's probably the friendliest place on earth.

staff were really nice,servicewas quick. we had tapioca pudding, banoffe, berry bang bang, and kyoto holiday. our fav would be the tapioca pudding. this is one of a good place if you are looking for a delightful dessert in the heart of the city

the panna cotta was amazing & a must have dessert. it was relatively cheap & great quality. theservicewas also super fast. would definitely recommend.

amazing! chocolate is delicious. nuff said. some quirky desserts available. but the hot chocolates are excellent. chocolate heaven was mouth-wateringly good.servicewas great

went on wednesday night, place was really busy. the staff were really cheerful and smiled throughout, providing good customerserviceduring the process. the berry bang bang had many elements to it, very intricate and tasty. the green tea sesame roti was pretty good too, if you like your green tea. coffee was ok and iced coffee was strong flavoured. good find all in all.
