hoggs gourmet grill

we come here so often.
i was impressed the first time i went here. and, honestly, i get more and more impressed each time i go and keeps getting better with each visit. the staff are all very nice. theplaceis always hoppin' during lunch time. the food is finger lickin' good. the pulled pork, ribs, and specialty sausage is the best. if you want to sample a little of different things i suggest you get the platter. the sweet potato fries are a must! the prices are very fair. i highly recommend this place.

it's ok. hoggs is ok. the food was better than good but not so good i can't wait to go again. urbanspoon says they have free wifi but we had to listen to the owner talk for 5 minutes complaining, about why he no longer has wifi. but theplaceis extra clean and the ribs were really good the rest was tasty and nice. we really don't dine out unless there is wifi and so that was a real let down.

delicious sandwiches. this restaurant is situated in the towngate shopping center. google directions won't be that helpful in telling you where to turn. so remember to turn left at frederick st. and then turn left again or turn left at heritage way and then right.

the interior of the restaurant is somewhat cramped. i came in during the evening, a couple weeks back, to pick up a to-go order and theplacewas packed. (so you know it's gotta be good.) the employees there were very friendly.

i ordered the tri tip sandwich, chipotle bar-b-que beef sandwich and the strawberry shortcake.

both sandwiches were delicious. i didn't care for the bell peppers and onions in my chipotle bar-b-que sandwich, but the meat was tasty and the texture was great. the shortcake was nice as well, but it seemed to have too much salt in the strawberries. i think i had taken too long to pick up my food. the strawberries had started to soak into the bottom of the shortcake and that mixture was weirdly salty.

nice people, but.... they are really, really nice people, but if you have actually had authentic bbq, you will hate this place. the food is not good. the sauce tastes like it could be bullseye, even though they make everything on site. the beans are mediocre at best. this is aplacefor people who go to chili's or applebee's for ribs. it's very generic.

the best eats. love thisplace- and enjoy the consistent quality. they have not cut any corners on their ingredients/menu and continue to serve the best hamburgers in our area.
like the company there too!

i love hoggs. i am big on little mom and pop shops and i have to tell you that hoggs is the greatestplacei have ever been too. best burgers and sausages ever. jeff the owner is way nice and you can tell that he backs any and everything he serves. the only problem i see is that his burgers and sausages are so good i can't bring myself to trying anything else. i have heard great things about the tri tip and club sandwich and they will be next on my list. hoggs also has a giant burger called the quad hogg. i ate the giant burger so that i could have my picture on the wall of fame. advice on the quad hogg, eat fast because its a lot. one last thing is that hoggs is kid friendly as well. i brought my 2 and 6 year old son and daughter to hoggs and i was greeted by jeff the owner and he got toys out of a toy box he has inside the shop so that my kids had something to do. i love hoggs. it would be a crime to be in the city of moreno valley and not stop at hoggs.

great bbq. thisplaceis absolutely one of the best places we like to go eat at. the bbq is fantastic....and they have the best hamburgers! the owners, are great people, fun to talk and visit with, just really down to earth folks. my husband and i go weekly and we really enjoy the food and the company.
