hoggs gourmet grill

a pretty good value for all the food you got! didn't love the sweet potato fries (tasted like grease), but regular fries were great. baked beans were delicious, so was pulled pork. we were grateful for the other reviews because we weren't familiar with the area and were hungry while passing through the city.

i was impressed the first time i went here. and, honestly, i get more and more impressed each time i go and keeps getting better with each visit. the staff are all very nice. the place is always hoppin' during lunch time. the food is finger lickin' good. the pulled pork, ribs, and specialty sausage is the best. if you want to sample a little of different things i suggest you get the platter. the sweet potato fries are a must! the prices are very fair. i highly recommend this place.

love it!. i don't eat here very often because the foods quite fatty but when i do, i absolutely love it the foods fantastic and the customer service is great! the owners are usually around and are very attentive to there customers, i 100% recommend this place

real review!. i went here today and have to say whatever! they had about 6 different sausages but to my surprise they did not have hot links, isn't this a bbq joint? they had cajun sausages some hawaiian crap and some hungarian crap and some other sweet sausages again isn't this a bbq joint?. i ordered the andouille and onion rings, yuck! i hate beer batter onion rings but they didnt have many other options and i didnt know they would be beer batter. my mom ordered bbq pulled chicken she said it was okay but the coleslaw was definitely lacking. over all on a scale of 1-10 i would give it a 5 it was my first visit and maybe my last but ribs are the true test so maybe i will return just to make sure. it is cheap for bbq

dont bother. it's called hogg's gourmet grill. but, what defines gourmet? frozen fries, frozen zucchini, frozen sweet potatoes? pre-made burgers? bottled salad dressings? re-heated bbq? plastic silverware and paper plates? it is over priced and the service is poor. i find them to be rude and i choose to not ever go back and not ever recommend them. i want to support local businesses but not at the sake of my self. i will eat on paper and will pay well "if" i am valued as a customer. this owner values no one. he does not want my business and i will oblige him.

hoggs wild. i visited hoggs for the first time on wednesday. i had a very simple smoked turkey sandwich, i fell in love. i then took my 16yr old daughter, who is a rib eater, she had the half rack baby backs and was in finger sucking heaven! i had the "pulled plate"(chicken) and i am need of more. the food is amazing and addictive. i will send anyone looking for great bbq or smoked meats to hoggs, moreno valley. thanks for the awesome service!

it's ok. hoggs is ok. the food was better than good but not so good i can't wait to go again. urbanspoon says they have free wifi but we had to listen to the owner talk for 5 minutes complaining, about why he no longer has wifi. but the place is extra clean and the ribs were really good the rest was tasty and nice. we really don't dine out unless there is wifi and so that was a real let down.

hoggs!!. loved this place! so glad moreno valley finally has a bit of identity and uniqueness. my only recommendation would be to play some more southern style music to heighten the atmosphere, ie. louis armstrong, fats waller, miles davis etc. but other than that the food and customer service was amazing!!

i visited hoggs gourmet grill to take advantage of the $2.50 special on sausages that is featured on tuesdays. the andouille sausage was not spicy to me, but i thought that it was tasty and the grilled peppers and onions complimented it well. the onion rings that i ordered as a side were fantastic!

delicious sandwiches. this restaurant is situated in the towngate shopping center. google directions won't be that helpful in telling you where to turn. so remember to turn left at frederick st. and then turn left again or turn left at heritage way and then right.

the interior of the restaurant is somewhat cramped. i came in during the evening, a couple weeks back, to pick up a to-go order and the place was packed. (so you know it's gotta be good.) the employees there were very friendly.

i ordered the tri tip sandwich, chipotle bar-b-que beef sandwich and the strawberry shortcake.

both sandwiches were delicious. i didn't care for the bell peppers and onions in my chipotle bar-b-que sandwich, but the meat was tasty and the texture was great. the shortcake was nice as well, but it seemed to have too much salt in the strawberries. i think i had taken too long to pick up my food. the strawberries had started to soak into the bottom of the shortcake and that mixture was weirdly salty.

nice people, but.... they are really, really nice people, but if you have actually had authentic bbq, you will hate this place. the food is not good. the sauce tastes like it could be bullseye, even though they make everything on site. the beans are mediocre at best. this is a place for people who go to chili's or applebee's for ribs. it's very generic.

great food and very affordable...love this restaurant

absolutely amazing bbq and the owner is a super nice guy! we will definitely be returning with our friends!
