used to enjoy it more. i used to be a regular. i enjoyed the dive style, friendlywait staff, close location, and reasonable prices (think denny's with a soul).the short order diner breakfast style can be decent and occasionally they have some good specials (most of which are mostly just 50 cents off, not exactly something to write home about).
a year or two ago, they started raising the price from about $7 a plate to $10. it's a pretty large markup for refried beans, eggs, and some potatoes. forget about ordering sides, which come to a couple dollars for one egg. frankly, the price really doesn't match the quality, and you can find better breakfast areas in the valley for the same price.
