for standard, americanized chinese food, thisplaceis very good. they're clearly working a little harder than run of the mill chinese joints. the hot and sour soup, made fresh to order, was very flavorful and plenty hot (spicy). the entrees grew on me with each bite, after my initial surprise when they didn't quite fit the mold. the general's chicken is perhaps a bit heavily breaded and the sauce a touch too viscous, but the flavor is subtle and interesting. the kung pao beef was excellent. the half portion was enough for two. i asked for it extra spicy and got what i asked for. all in all, a great dinner. great prices, great specials. i will definitely return.
