food is ok but the owner is a mean person

worth the drive. my family is willing to drive from i-10 and 295 are to enjoy the sushi this place has to offer.

it is worth the drive, the food and service have always been excellent.
as a surprise this past valentines day, took the bride back out there. she was excited and enjoy every moment there.

hana sushi is really good. we ate at hana sushi last night for the first time in a long time and really enjoyed it. it is small and located in a strip mall, but the food was very good and the service by savannah was great! she was so friendly and accommodating. we started with the tuna sushi and a shrimp tempera roll. both were very good. i had the vegetarian hibachi and my husband had the steak and chicken. lots of fresh veggies in both dishes, rice good, and soups. too much food but that is ok as i brought the leftovers home. better than some of the other oriental choices on the island.

reviewer. we continue to give hana sushi a try because of his website, now i have to report, and will no longer be a patron - white tuna was frozen, pregnant waitress acted as though she was doing us a favor -- all else average - last summer and over christmas, about the same -

this place is the best sushi in the area. authentic, big portions, and delicious!

interesting spot. had a nice relaxed dinner with very good service and food last night at hana sushi. the teriyaki bento box dinner was flavorful with nicely crisp and light tempura vegetables. the pork dumplings (gyoza) were excellent: perfectly seared on the outside. good prices on the japanese beers.

excellent sushi!. my brother and i love going out for sushi and this is the place we have found to be the best on the island! i highly recommend the kani salad and the captain maki roll- you won't find captain maki on the menu, you'll have to write it at the top of your sushi page, but there's a picture of it on the last page of the menu- spicy tuna and shrimp topped with avocado and tomiko and their special sauce! went back yesterday and everything as usual was fantastic!

my regular place =). staff is always nice and quick to get your order or refill your drink. i've never been disappointed by any of their food. presentation is beautiful and well thought out.

my boyfriend doesn't care for sushi at all so he usually orders edamame, "beef on a stick", and beef fried rice. every time, i end up stealing a little of his food because it's so delicious.

i usually order the philly roll and rock n roll (i'm not very adventurous) and am never disappointed. all ingredients are very fresh and flavorful. i have also tried their baby octopus and was delighted by the flavor. excellent dish.

the place is small but very personal. make sure you make reservations for any special occasion just to be on the safe side. very clean, very personable. wonderful atmosphere. by far the best sushi on the island at a wonderful price.

hana sushi. small family spot, not fancy but always excellent. recommend highly.

service is excellent. the sushi is very good and priced right. i would highly recommend this restaurant. very friendly staff.
