had the pulled pork tacos and my husband had theducktacos. they were good, as well as the mac and cheese balls. taco portions are a little small for the price, and the wait is forever, but it's worth going. grab a table outside when it's nice and the wait won't be so bad

really unique menu included venison and elk burgers, and truffle fries cooked induckfat. i tried the elk burger on a pretzel bun (my favorite) and it was great. the fried mac n cheese ball apetizer came with three huge portions and was excellent. i was very pleased with my choices until they walked by with three huge fried chicken wings on a waffle. looks like i'll be going back soon.

if you don't like this place...kill yourself. damn, bad ass beer, smoked mac-n-cheese...deep fried...then hollandaise sauce!?!? killer smoked ribs,ducktacos...duck f 'ing tacos on homemade tortillas. fresh cut fries...fried induckfat...tossed in truffle oil..who does that!?!? i love you. but what was the best dish of the meal? the baked beans. the 5 year old crushed them, the 9 mos old slammed his hands on the table till he got another mash of them. bacon carmel brownie anyone? not super kid friendly, but my kids are champs...get there early...only one highchair.

ribs and venison burger:). my husband and i had the half ribs, venison burger, and fries induckfat. everything was wonderful. we got there at 4:45 and were seated when the door opened at 5. by the time we left there was a 2 hour wait! the atmosphere is very pub/bar but we enjoyed that being it was a date night for us:)

off. the. chain.. my husband and i are visiting from out of town and we were looking for a good place to try a new assortment of things. we happened upon hammerheads in our searching and we were not disappointed. we started with the fried mac and cheese balls. oh my. they have mastered this art! and the hollandaise on top was some of the best i've had. moving on to the main course, i had the most perfectly cooked elk burger of my life, topped with brie, my favorite cheese, and a yummy sun-dried tomato aioli. my husband had theducktacos. they were also out of this world. paired with fries cooked to perfection, this place is amazing. don't let the bizarre set up of the building deter you. you have to eat here. now.

basket of trufle fires fried induckfast. the fries were very good and surprisingly not greasy. neat twist on an all time favorite. the serving was plentiful and was easily shared with the table of friends with us.

everything was great!. we all really enjoyed our meals! its a dive bar but so worth the wait. daughter had the chorizo bugger and i hadducktacos. never hadduckbefore and really liked it. most liked the truffle fries but they are a little different....that umami taste i guess. excellent beer choices as well.

decent...but not up to the hype. hammerhead's food is good, but doesn't meet the hype.

the restaurant is cramped, uncomfortable and loud. if you are with people you don't want to take with, then this would be ok.

the service is good and friendly enough, but doesn't really standout.

they were out ofduck(which didn't bother anyone in our party) and brisket (which was disappointing).

i had the baby back ribs. they were very good and are considered a house specialty. however, it wouldn't be too hard to find ribs just as good at other restaurants in town.

one in our party had the angus burger and he liked it. the wives both had the catfish sandwich. i tried it and it wasn't anything special.

we shared a bacon brownie for dessert. the brownie was fine, but the bacon flavor wasn't readily apparent.

bottom line: it's good food and a decent value and i'd go back but wouldn't make an extra effort to do so.

omfg -ducktaco was the best taco i've had in my life! lamb ribs were amazing, mac n cheese balls were insane and the beer selection was great. there is no overstating how awesome this place is!!

great food. my boyfriend and i went here this past thursday for the first time. we got there around 7pm and the place was packed wall to wall. we waited about five minutes before we were seated at the bar. i'd been scoping out the menu for two days and knew i wanted to try theducktacos, my boyfriend had the lamb ribs. we also got a basket of truffle fries fried induckfat and got sun-dried tomato mayo on the side. the food was excellent! everything was perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned. the fries were nice and crisp on the outside and soft in the middle. i would definitely go here again.

wow!. i went here on the recommendation of somebody i asked about local places. they told me if i like hold in the wall restaurants with interesting food and good beer this was the place to be and they couldn't be more right. this spot is literally in the basement of a house in a residential neighborhood. the beer list is extensive, the food includes things likeducksliders, elk burgers and venison burgers. you can add things like pork belly to any burger or fry anything induckfat for $3.

i had a venison burger and fries seasoned in bbq flavoring and was in heaven. one of the best burgers i've ever had! this place is definitely small and easy to miss if you don't know what you are looking for, but this restaurant is a must.

welcome to flavortown. went on a busy saturday, definitely did not disappoint. started off with appetizers, truffle fries and mac and cheese balls [recommended]. orderedducktacos -- flavor was unreal! also had samples of elk burger and pork belly. elk burger also recommended as are the baked beans. would definitely return.
