twice now we've come to half day to have breakfast, only to find out they are closed for one reason or another (and it's not on a sunday.) so disappointing... a heads up on the website would be appreciated so we didn't drive 30m out of our way, only to go somewhere else.

probably wont be back, not worth risking the frustration again.

fantastic!. half daycafeis great! the service was wonderful, the atmosphere is cozy and laid back. the food came out quick and hot, and most importantly the food was fantastic!!

i had the egg strata, which was really delicious. my only complaint that is was so hot, it look me almost 10 minutes to start to dig into it for the fear of really burning my tongue. but i would rather it be really hot, versus cold- so i'm not really complaining too much.

my husband had the bacon, eggs, hash browns and pancakes- he loved every bite of it!

i'm definitely looking forward to going back to half day cafe, it was a refreshing change of pace versus the usual breakfast hot spots.

going out for breakfast on a saturday morning is one of those experiences that we absolutely love.  the best is sleeping in, waking up without an alarm, and just deciding to throw on some clothes and head out! we don’t do it often, but when we do, we’re always looking for a new place.  for us, great breakfast includes protein and pancakes.  a good breakfast place must do both very well.  half daycafein wyoming does just that.

best breakfast i've ever eaten. found this greatcafein a google search for cincinnatti-area diners. while it was a bit of a drive, it was completely worth it. the diner is warm, welcoming, and very clean. excellent service and the best breakfast food i have ever eaten. we tried the broiled grapefruit with carmelized ginger sugar, which has a surprising and pleasant blend of spicy, sweet, and tart in every bite. i had a blueberry and pecan buttermilk pancake that was cooked to perfection and tasted delicious with a side of applewood smoked bacon. the pancake was big enough to be filling all on its own. my sister tried the mango butter rum pancake and loved it. though it was way too much food for the two of us, we also wanted to try the oatmeal and the white cheddar grits. the grits were delicious, and i ended up saving the oatmeal for lunch. even cold, the cranberries, pecans, and brown sugar blended with the oatmeal to create a very pleasing dish. i would return again and again to this cafe. the owner spoke with us and was very pleasant. a great dining experience!

wyoming local. this restaurant is simply amazing! dale (the owner) almost always greets us at the door and genuinely has an interest in everyone he sees. he is the real deal! remember the television show cheers? well, the half daycafeis that "local hangout" where everyone knows your name and has food is top notch. thank you dale, patty and staff for always going to extra mile. we love your restaurant and the food is superior to any other local breakfast place. love you! please stop by and experience a luscious butter rum pancake sometime. it is delectable.

nice breakfast...but a bit pricey. we had breakfast at half daycafelast thursday. the restaurant is nicely decorated and very comfortable; the menu is eclectic and trendy but one might expect that in wyoming, ohio. i really enjoyed my scrambled eggs, turkey sausage and whole grain toast with selection of jams. admittedly, breakfast was almost twenty dollars for two which is a bit pricey but the biggest problem is that the place was noisy! the waitress was sweet and friendly but simply couldn't hear us well! not sure what they can do about that...and despite the place being half full, the parking lot was overflowing. that being said, i still would recommend half day cafe, especially if you are entertaining out of town guests.

half daycafeis a small corner restaurant located in wyoming, ohio, a charming, upscale town north of hartwell featuring ample, gorgeous homes riddled with character. it's open until 2 p.m. six days a week, serving breakfast all day and lunch beginning at 11 a.m. the breakfast menu is divided into three major sections:

false pretense..non foodie. half daycafeis a way overpriced attempt at being the local go to and friendly "green" breakfast spot where everybody knows your name. nothing on their plates is from any local farm , however, it is indeed from a sysco food truck. you will be greeted and served and expected to vacate in under 45 minutes. no one on the premises is "chef". all of their menu items were acquired from previous employees and or google. if you are ready to spend 50.00 for breakfast ,and ready to consume restaurant depot products...this is your spot. fyi..if you dont agree with the transcripts on the wall , you will be asked to leave .

half daycafeis the food of the gods. it would be worth spending thousands upon thousands of dollars to enjoy even one succulent, delicious crumb at this incredible eatery. moreover, the owners are so nice. their kindness, warmth, and hospitality knows no bounds. the only drawback is that i eventually have to leave. i would rate this restaurant 10 to the 100 millionth power out of 10.

the half daycafeis a local gem. it is family owned and the extremely friendly staff makes you feel welcome. they have great breakfast and lunch menus with a few interesting twists and a full coffee bar menu. it has a real neighborhood feel with a bright and cheery atmosphere. you really should check this place out instead of going to a chain.

a community treasure. half daycafeis more than a restaurant, it is a place for meeting and conversation that also happens to offer good food at reasonable prices. for those of us who live in wyoming, it is a community treasure.
