the cheeseburgers are still great. i'd read some of the recent, mixed reviews of gullo's on urbanspoon, so i decided to stop in and see for myself how the place was doing. it was my first visit in about a year, and i'm happy to report that the cheeseburgers are still incredible. i sat outside at a picnic table and enjoyed the weather - i can't think of anywhere else where the dining room is literally a grove of pecan trees. the staff, who seemed entirely different since my last visit, were warm and friendly. they offered me a fried pie because myburgertook a few minutes, but i didn't accept - aburgercooked to order should take a few minutes.
all in all, i have to say i was thrilled to see that this place has hung in there, and that some of shreveport's best cheeseburgers (if not the best) are still fantastic.
