in love?. want to propose? do it here!!

the view is "to die for", and so is the food. themenuis slightly limited, but since i always get the scallops/shrimp, as long as they have that combo, i'm happy. delicious; wait staff is professional and prompt; great experience.

amateur operation. first time we had dined at this lovely location. not such a good first impression. we got the feeling that this was a new venture in the owner's life. themenuwas very limited, waitstaff were friendly, but did not appear to be 'seasoned'. crab cakes were ok, salads ok oysters rockefeller miniscule, probably canned and were swamped with cheese. i'd wait another year before a re-visit.

not impressed. themenuis too small , under staffed , and the prices are out there for what you get. the only thing they have going is the atmosphere .and outside deck.

the gem of our trip! beautiful location, great food.. i am so happy we chose gulfstream for dinner! it was well-worth the drive from mb for sure.

first of all, it is difficult to find good, on-the-water restaurants and this view, especially at sunset, was simply amazing. and the food and service were equally as good.

we arrived at a little after 5pm and the parking lot was packed but apparently that was the rush for the "early" dining menu, where a lighter fare runs around $11.95 per entree. we were told that the wait for outdoor dining would be 25 min and it wound up being around 10-15 tops, which was great since we have a toddler. and even though i don't think gc made the "kid-friendly" list, we thought it was fine for children.

we decided to eat off the regularmenuand it didn't disappoint! i chose the grouper and my husband had the salmon, both of which were delicious.

overall, a+ experience at gulfstream cafe.

early dinnermenuis a great value, the tiliapia was cooked superbly, the entree with the two sides and salad and fresh bread including tea or coffee was filling and well prepared. the homemade salad dressing, especially the honey-lime were delicious. service was very good even though our salad came out with the entree, the server offered us dessert on the house. the manager also apologized. we still would return because the meal was so good and the staff so caring. the restaurant also has a great view of murrells inlet.

the website of this restaurant shows an "early" dinnermenubut shares no such definition. we were told early dinner is 4:00pm to 5:30pm and actually "sold out" at 5pm. ordered the special mussels in lemon sauce over linguini and was good but would have preferred the noodles al dente. the server was nice. the view was pretty. the drive through garden city was a hazard at best.

wonderful. three of us enjoyed the early bird for $11.95. my companions got the fish (talipia i believe) with green beans and garlic potatoes. i got the shrimp/scallops with fries. the meal came with a salad (i believe we all got the honey/lime). we ordered bruschetta and split the key lime pie. it was a delicious meal; great view of the water; very attentive and extremely professional waiters. this is on the top of my "to do again" list, and can't wait to try a differentmenuitem. i highly recommend this restaurant.
