guero's taco diner

found this place last minute and was welcomed with open arms by the owner. we let him pick our tacos for us and we’re not disappointed. the trash cantacoand costra phenomenal choices. the were fresh and not just atacositting under a heat lamp. my man was superb with his service and his personality to make the morning fun and enjoyable. this place is tucked away and with no outside sign though. just look for the black windows and the open sign on the corner of the strip. i look forward to coming back!!

just had my firsttacofrom here and it very well may have been the besttacoi have ever had!  it was so good that i fought through the pain of a tooth infection to finish it.  painful but worth it!

good for lunch too. always come here for the breakfast tacos and seeing that this place stays open till 1pm i decided to try lunch here. chicken flauta plate was cooked right..chicken wasn't dry like some places i go to. overall a good meal but a bit on the expensive side for a lunch

the bicycle heaventacoconsists of papas,cheese,fajita meat and a sliced avocado. this was truly a different breakfasttacoindeed....loved it! guero'stacodiner is a small place and has a friendly staff. taco's came out pretty quick and they were delicious. i found another place in the stone oak area i can go to.

fabulous tacos and awesome service!. for those looking for an accurate review of guero's...do not pay any attention to the reviews above because i have always had an incredible experience there. the service is great, always warm and welcoming!
i moved to texas not too long ago and have been really disappointed in san antonio's ability to serve an honest to goodness authentic taco. one bite of thetaconortenos and i was in heaven and knew my search was over!
everything was fresh, meat was certified angus and so tender, and the guacamole is made in house and delicious!
looking for an authentic, delicioustacoat a really reasonable price? guero's is your place!

will not visit again!. i have visited this establishment a few times in the past; though after my most recent experience i will not return. i placed a to-go order and low and behold once i got home the entire order was incorrect, with the exception of a bean and cheesetacothey managed to throw in the bag. i should have known better and checked the order prior to leaving. i thought no big deal, i'll give them a call, and since they deliver i can have my food in no time. 50 minutes passes, no knock on the door, notacoin my tummy. at this point i'm beyond pissed; i'm shocked that such a new place in such a down economy would conduct a business like this. don't they want to make money? don't they want people to return, don't they want more business? obviously not. after waiting almost an hour i call to find out where the hell my food is. they said they got really busy and couldn't take care of my order. seriously???? so whatever happened to the customer comes first? so let me get this straight........you mess up my order but get too busy to fix it. oh ok, thanks. needless to say, i'm still hungry and pissed. i highly recommend you do not visit.

stone oak mexican. in the beginning when gueros first opened their doors the place was a small hole in the wall gem that was tucked away among the busy traffic of stone oak. with pinatas, mexican music, and fresh made horchata this became the neighborhood place to visit and order barbarquoa and coffee every sunday morning. now that they have been there for a few months the place has totally changed the quant little image it once was. with overpriced tacos, flatscreened tvs everywhere, a new snotty staff, and ingredients from whole foods this place has changed and not the same resturant it was in the beginning. with whiter than white stone oak anglos ordering things the can't pronounce in their "keeping up with the joneses" suvs and louis vuitton thats this place has turned up like the surrounding businesses. this was once the best place for tacos and now i spend my money at the sametacohut on the other side of town for a more "down to earth" service.
