stone oak mexican. in the beginning when gueros first opened their doors the place was a small hole in the wall gem that was tucked away among the busy traffic ofstoneoak. with pinatas, mexican music, and fresh made horchata this became the neighborhood place to visit and order barbarquoa and coffee every sunday morning. now that they have been there for a few months the place has totally changed the quant little image it once was. with overpriced tacos, flatscreened tvs everywhere, a new snotty staff, and ingredients from whole foods this place has changed and not the same resturant it was in the beginning. with whiter than whitestoneoak anglos ordering things the can't pronounce in their "keeping up with the joneses" suvs and louis vuitton thats this place has turned up like the surrounding businesses. this was once the best place for tacos and now i spend my money at the same taco hut on the other side of town for a more "down to earth" service.
