fresh ingredients makes for some great food. i would definitely go back... often.servicewas great too. i don't think i've ever gotten my food so fast.

good food. i love guapo's but only this location the food is best at this one and so is the service, also the menu here is the biggest. i have never had a bad thing from the menu, and always have a full cup of water and some one standing by to take my empty plate. i only had badservicehere one sitting out side, the server dissipated, but flagged down another one and asked were did our server go? he had no clue but picked up our table form there giving us 110% if you are here for happy hour i recommend sitting at the bar, juan who tends bar evenings is really nice, and gives you good service, even if he does not know you.

nice local chain. we were looking for an easy choice in shirlington and guapo's fit the bill - mexican is a fairly universal favorite and our visit was no exception.

theservicewas very attentive - drinks were refilled very quickly as were the chips and salsa. the food took a bit longer than anticipated but most likely b/c one of our party ordered a steak. when the food arrived, it was all very hot and fresh - the kitchen was well cued as to having the items ready to go at the same time.

we'll be back!!!

outrageous - big zero for customer service. big zero for customerserviceat the shirlington location! we liked the idea of the buffet, especially because the kids would be able to try a little bit of everything and decide what they would like to have. before we were sited, the hostess said the kids would not pay for the buffet even after i pointed to the older ones and told her their age. we were a party of 3 adults and 4 kids - an infant, a toddler under 2 and two 3-year-olds. when the bill came, we were charged for 3 adults and 3 kids, leaving out of the bill only the youngest baby. we talked to the manager and explained the reason we didn't even look at the menu and decided for the buffet was because we were told the kids would eat for free. if we knew there would be a charge, we would probably have ordered from the menu and the kids would be sharing from their moms' plates as they usually do. the manager checked with the hostess and admitted there had been a mistake, but said that the best he could do was charge for only 2 kids instead of 3. being charged for two extra buffets does not make a difference in my pocket, but i consider it a big deal when the manager was not able to honor what was told us when we got there. they got two extra buffets and lost at least 3 customers for good. i've never seen such a short sighted managing!
