the reviews on zomato are misleading. i dont understand what the hype is about this place. i visited grub shack after seeing soo many good reviews about this place. the food here is not bad but it’s so normal and not worth the hype. and it’s too pricey for the quality of food. we ordered the famous firecracker prawns which was basically prawns dipped in a bland sauce, chicken fried rice, burnt garlic chicken and tandoori chicken. it tasted just like any other cafeteria or basicrestaurantbut we paid so much more for it. the rangeela cart was the only thing that was fun and different.

today was my first experience after reading the previous reviews.
today's experience was horrible, chicken lollypop (their best seller as per server) has so much of organe colour that both lips and fingers were orange after repeated wash with soap.
in the peppery prawns dish, the prawn were so smelly that we could not even taste it.
after having starters we moved out to continue our lunch to anotherrestaurantwith my wife and daughter.

located in the heart of dubai healthcare city, this amazingrestaurantis serving a range of worth trying indo chinese, indian and goan delicacies.

from presentation to taste , everything is awesome

grub shack was a pleasant surprise between casual and upscale dining, it was somewhere in the middle which was something i wasn't expecting.

some of the items had unique presentation that went along with the great taste of every dish.

the prices that therestaurantset were reasonable and i was happy to see that they had some customers visiting them while i was there, it is a pretty rare accomplishment in dubai these days.

for a good indo-chinese experience, i would recommend visiting grub shack.

grub shack is an indian fusionrestaurant🍴. they serve delicately prepared meals. out of all the variety of food they offer i got my hands on stir fired drums of heaven 🍗, fire cracker prawns 🦐, delicious tawa tandoori chicken briyani 🍚, munna bhai's finger licking good mutton rogan ghost 🥩, sizzling 🥵 chicken drumsticks 🍗
for the desserts i tried their amazing chocolate 🍫 brownies and ended my meal in style with some karak tea ☕.

i really loved the combination of food they're serving. the place is pretty good inside out.they also have live music on weekends and week days as well 🎶. it gives classicrestaurantvibes out i'd definitely recommend this place if you're looking forward for some indian fun 😊💯

mix grill kebab platter was really bad. firstly price was not mentioned. way over priced. aed 185 😳 when i saw the bill , sent my head spinning that too for worst kebeb platter ive come across fish tikka was very dry n hard mutton kebab was dry . chicken haryali tikka was bad..restaurantmanagement was least bothered. even the green chutney was smelly.

i have been in grub shak 2 days back with my partner
honestly the place exceeded our expectation.
we want to try a new indianrestaurantand after friends recommendation we went to grub shak.
it was an other level of service, ambiance, feeling and of course delicious food.

first of all , therestaurantteam were all welcoming, and they did so to every customer entering. they made us feeling comfortable and home.
next we were amazed that they had they live music (piano and guitar). the selection of music was pleasant few indian and english song.
the food presentation is outstanding, they took care of all the details.
we had tried biryani, 🦀 , fish , curry's with their speciality drinks 🍸
all was more than expected and we end up sitting their for more than 3 hours as we kept enjoying trying the food, listening to music and feeling the good vibes of the place.

amazing place! all the food was so fresh and just delicious. i loved all the dishes but chicken byriani and shrimps are my top one. ambiance of therestaurantis exceptional.

leaving behind all these things me and my wife decided every week we will visit a differentrestaurantto try specifically butter chicken so we are on a hunt to find the best butter chicken.
we ordered for staters calamari and peri peri chicken both were amazing but butter chicken was a very big disappointment really big time disappointment for 70 aed imagine looking at the amount we thought it would be an extraordinary dish over there since this dish is accepted by the world. the taste was average very average if you see the amount that u paid. it was not at all authentic and the portion size will literally give u goosebumps as it’s really small. absolutely can’t give a second chance to thisrestaurantwith no people at therestaurantit’s really desolate over there.
