we went for iftar buffet.amazing spread for thr price.i loved the salads,maincourse n desserts a lot.they had 5 starters too which weregoodtoo.most important the staff was humble n very sweet..iftar buffet is a must try..come enpty stomach please,dont miss out on any dish

all food items served for iftar were limited but reallygoodand tasty, served hot. the only thing missing was the juice in the buffet.

no taste. poor quality. every dish is oily even then its tasteless. kudos to all those who have givengoodrating and recommend this place, either they have never experienced flavorful food or they are just being nice.

wonderful ambience and great quality food.goodportion sizes too.

we had the fiery calamari and the goan beef roast with the portuguese bread. we were served by romario and he was very helpful in recommending the right dishes.

will definitely be back again with family and friends.

i literally can’t rave enough about this place. if you are looking for somegoodindian food, you should head straight here. the moment you enter this place you will captivated with the beautiful interiors followed by an amazing service, awesome presentations and of course delectable flavors.

let’s get on the food journey of some dishes we devoured…

dahi ke sholay: a tempting, crispy and mouth melting deep fried hung yogurt patty with a hint of mild spices.

fire crackers prawns: light and crispy fried prawns tossed in a creamy, spicy tangy and delicious firecrackers sauce.

mutton rogan josh was the star, i love the tangy taste of spices and tomato gravy, mutton was tender and well cooked.

chicken burnt garlic and chili fried rice: steamed rice fried in a wok with burnt garlic and green chilies.

drums of heaven: chicken lollipop tossed in a secret spicy sauce.

in a side we also had masala papad, garlic naan, butter naan, masala coke, lemon soda.

pista and badam kulfi weregoodtoo and perfect for summer.

overall a 5/5 experience and a place you should add on in your visit list.

tried out this hidden gem located in healthcare city and i went with low expectations. honestly i was quite surprised by thegoodquality of food and the amazing quick service i received from their wonderful staff. we tried the following items:

- peri peri chicken
- rosemary malai tikka
- fire cracker prawns
- drums of heaven
- mutton rogan josh
- cheese chilly naan
- rangeela cart
- mango chilly
- passion fruit explosion
- jack frost

the cheese naan, drums of heaven and their mutton roganjosh was mind blowingly amazing and the drinks were outstanding especially the mango chilly juice and jack frost. highly recommend you all to give this place a try.

the reviews on zomato are misleading. i dont understand what the hype is about this place. i visited grub shack after seeing soo manygoodreviews about this place. the food here is not bad but it’s so normal and not worth the hype. and it’s too pricey for the quality of food. we ordered the famous firecracker prawns which was basically prawns dipped in a bland sauce, chicken fried rice, burnt garlic chicken and tandoori chicken. it tasted just like any other cafeteria or basic restaurant but we paid so much more for it. the rangeela cart was the only thing that was fun and different.

so i visited again to grub shack (where the foodies go), and this time we had so many things in the menu... the food here is so good!! you must not miss rangeela cart serving 6 best shots! we tried dynamite shrimps, chicken lollipop, fire wok prawns, fire cracker prawns, drums of heaven, butter chicken, mutton biryani, gemma’s chilli crab, hakka noodles, honey chilli fish, burnt garlic chicken rice and every single food was amazing and cooked different. i just loved their drinks as well and at the end gulab jamun was amazing. if you are planning for agoodfood and live music then get up and visit them asap.

there is a huge rta parking space and located at healthcare city. highly recommended.

in short to saygoodwas awesome, tasty n cool i would take this opportunity to say it’s worth visiting or trying this place 👍👍

this place calls goan cuisine as it’s speciality . i ordered chicken xacuti & portuguese pav . it’s generally very difficult to screw a chicken gravy & they were able to achieve this . the staff is polite , music isgoodbut food is a disaster .

grub shack was a pleasant surprise between casual and upscale dining, it was somewhere in the middle which was something i wasn't expecting.

some of the items had unique presentation that went along with the great taste of every dish.

the prices that the restaurant set were reasonable and i was happy to see that they had some customers visiting them while i was there, it is a pretty rare accomplishment in dubai these days.

for agoodindo-chinese experience, i would recommend visiting grub shack.

grub shack is a reallygoodplace, servinggoodvariety in the menu for goan, chinese, & indian food lovers. located in health care city, dubai away from the hustle and bustle of the city in spite of being in the city.
this place is easy to locate and best part there’s an ample parking available outside the restaurant. travelling there is the easiest!

the place has a nice feel to it. ambience is very well designed and looks very attractive and the vibes were very festive as they had christmas decoration all over. they do have a dedicated corner for live singing/music and the lady monica who was singing the song we loved her voice.
the seating arrangement is super comfortable. they have lot of different tables depending on the group size. the lighting design and placement will definitely catch your attention.

let me start with the service, it was very quick. the recommendations given by michelle were verygoodas we are vegetarians and we found they have quite many vegetarian options available as well. there was hardly any waiting time.
we started with their signature drink jack frost & rangeela cart (which includes 6 their best selling types of mocktails)- both were very refreshing and delicious.
starters we tried- dahi ke sholay, cheese chutney bomb & peri peri paneer tikka.
for main course we ordered- daal makhani, bhindi masala,tawa fried jeera rice
cheese naan/ garlic naan.
loved the fact that the quantity was wholesome. the starters were good. liked the dahi ke sholay & paneer tikka more.very tasty without any overpowering spices.
the star of the show was the main course. both the dishes were excellent. loved the dish bhindi masala. you will love it too.
the dessert we had brownie with ice-cream it was wonderful. 5* for the food and service. can’t wait to be back for more.
we had the best time ever. the food and service are top notch. must visit 👍
