grub shack - جروب شاك

tried out this hidden gem located in healthcare city and i went with low expectations. honestly i was quite surprised by the good quality of food and the amazing quick service i received from their wonderful staff. we tried the following items:

- peri peri chicken
- rosemary malai tikka
- fire cracker prawns
- drums of heaven
- mutton rogan josh
- cheese chilly naan
- rangeela cart
- mango chilly
- passion fruit explosion
- jack frost

the cheese naan, drums of heaven and their mutton roganjosh was mind blowingly amazing and the drinks were outstanding especially the mango chilly juice and jack frost. highly recommend you all to give this place a try.

food is amazing, taste is different, portions are big, better than any indian cuisine i've ever been to.

staff are polite and nice.

ambience is great with the music and overall theme.

a true hidden gem.

the most pathetic goan food i have had in dubai. this is not even close to goan food. the fish was all frozen and not fresh. rachado masala was just normal masala. the curry was made of coconut milk. cmon guys goans use grinded coconut and not packed coconut milk. 1/10 for all sea food dishes!! this is a fake goan restaurant

went for an office valentines lunch and the food and ambiance was amazing. a must-try hidden gem in healthcare city. will definitely revisit to try more of the dishes on the menu.

the reviews on zomato are misleading. i dont understand what the hype is about this place. i visited grub shack after seeing soo many good reviews about this place. the food here is not bad but it’s so normal and not worth the hype. and it’s too pricey for the quality of food. we ordered the famous firecracker prawns which was basically prawns dipped in a bland sauce, chicken fried rice, burnt garlic chicken and tandoori chicken. it tasted just like any other cafeteria or basic restaurant but we paid so much more for it. the rangeela cart was the only thing that was fun and different.

this is an asian fusion theme based restaurant with rustic interiors, cozy ambience✨️ & live music🎸giving you goan vibes where one can enjoy & relish on some lipsmacking delicacies👌 they have a vast menu with a variety of bombay & goan dishes!!

enjoy a gastronomical experience at grubshack starting off with their :

✴️signature fancy mocktails🍹- jack frost & strawberry margharita which were absolutely refreshing!!
✴️highly recommend you to try their star dish - firecracker prawns🍤 (crispy shrimps coated in spicy, tangy firecracker sauce)
✴️fiery piri piri chicken🔥 - for all the spicy lovers; fusion chicken tikka with a hot peri peri kick
✴️for main course we enjoyed our naan with munna bhai's mutton rogan josh!!
✴️ended our meal with a classic warm almond brownie topped with vanilla icecream🍨

overall loved the experience❣️ definitely coming back to try the other items on their menu!!

unfortunately not up to its regular standard.

prawns were cold, ate a few and left the rest. mentioned to the waiter/waitress.

other dishes were nothing amazing .

beautiful rustic ambience, live music, lovely vibes and great food quite sums up this place. we tried a variety of drinks and dishes and everything was quite scrumptious. i loved the range of mocktails too, especially the small shots calls rangeela trolley which had 6 different mocktails in a cart. presentation spot on ! the dishes we tried…

if you are looking for spicy , delicious, authentic goan cuisine then grub shack is the place . food had a burst of flavors. fire cracker prawns and orange lollipop were amazing . in main course,don’t forget to try their crabs . food was beautifully presented and staff is also super friendly. i am definitely going to recommend this place for your next friends meet up .
