gringos locos

just ok. chipotle style service. ordered a basic chicken burrito. was excited to see the sauces. the burrito was bland. it was salvaged by the xxx sauce. the other sauces were not good. i am a fan of sweet tea which was not an option however those wholovefree style soda u r in luck. my wife ordered enchiladas. good but still wanted to bury it in hot sauce. service was quick but left me wondering if i ordered right.

you'llloveit!!. i always forget that this place exists over on the end of downtown. the one night i did remember it was there i just happened to be starving. thank god i was because their portions here are overwhelming. i had some friends with me and we all decided to split the nachos, quesadilla and a mouthhunger burrito. everything was xtra large and tasted amazing. i do however like the beef more than chicken but both were very tasty. i keep hearing about these delicious dbl d's but forgot about them while i was there. we will be back soon to see what all the craze is. ps it was really good the next day too, we had plenty of food to take home for breakfast the next day:)

best tacos ever!. i have loved this place ever since i was introduced to it about 2 years ago while out on the town. i always get the double d's because they are combined with the most amazing flavors my mouth has ever laid its tounge on. i figured its about time i show these guys someloveon uspoon. might be headed there tonight at 3am...score!!

order the double d's!. gringos locos is an inexpensive restaurant in downtown orlando that specializes in “quickly prepared” mexican favorites! i have been there several times for either a fast lunch or a late night “sober up before driving” experience!
they are open late and when the surrounding bars close there can be a long wait! i recently went there for lunch and the food was just as tasty.
the atmosphere... hole in the wall, has a dirty feel to it but is actually very sanitary
the service... counter service similar to chipotle or moe’s, for the most part i have had friendly, helpful service
the food... mostly tacos and burritos, but with a touch of empanadas, nachos, quesadillas, etc...
i usually get the same thing here... two pork double d’s (hard and soft shell with queso, protein, lettuce, pico, cheese and sour cream 2/$5.99) these are gringos’ version of taco bell’s double decker tacos except the hard and soft shells are stuck together with queso instead of beans. they are also stuffed with ingredients that are far superior. ilovethe roasted pork from gringos locos, it is always crispy, yet tender and full of flavor.
i also tried the homemade guacamole with chips for $2.99, it was not bad, but it was also nothing special so i would probably pass on that the next time!
on this visit i knew what i was getting in to, but i had a guest with me who i consider to be the “burrito queen”. she love, love, loves burritos! every time i see her she usually has a burrito in her hand, and i was curious to see what she thought of this place. she ordered the drunk gringo for $8.99, which has everything in it! beef, pork, and chicken, with all possible ingredients! i am pleased to report that she ate every bite, and although it was not the best burrito that she has ever eaten, she still gave it her “burrito queen seal of approval”. i don’t think you could ask for too much more then that.

my tacos are good tacos. the beef tacos were amazing. normally i don't like beef tacos, i prefer steak. but if there was a place back home that severed beef the way these guys do i'd be in heaven. it had a sweet under taste to it and they weren't too drippy. the place was quick too! and they stuff your tacos. and reasonably priced.loveit!

mucho bueno! let's just say i came here one day for a long lunch with a coworker. we had gotten in right before the rush, and was immediately hypnotized by the colorful menu.

i decided to go with the double d's (ilovefood names that make me chuckle), beef and chicken empanadas and the queso (yes we shared)

i have to say my favorite was the double d's. the soft and hard shell just work magically together.

the food is really tasty, fresh and relatively inexpensive.

i've been coming to gl for a while. today is the first time since they opened up after remodeling. food is great.lovethe taste. service is ok. i asked for no lettuce and the guy added it. he removed it from my burrito but did not ask to replace it. i was going to be fine but he dis not asked. saw a similar situation happen to the customer in front. they just wiped out the sour cream. the menu is just one piece of paper tapped to a wall. a lot room for improvement. still good burritos.

amazing place!!!!!!. if you haven't been here then you must must must go!!! all of their food is full of flavor and fresh! they make it right in front of you and you can add things or more of things! the menu is huge so there is something for everyone! not to mention.. the guys are great!!! i'd have to say i'm very happy they are open so late... although i do with they were open more!!! also.. it's byob and there is great art work on the walls.. and it's for sale! check this place out!!! you willloveit!!!

kudrew, i'm friends with the guys that run this place. these guys have amazing, flavorful food that i eat when i'm in visiting from so cal. you obviously suck at life and are most likely the dirt bag that was fired in the beggining for being a complete loser. stop hating on my boys and enjoy your pathetic life;)loveyou guys!! hope this guy gets hit by the public transit bus soon;) oh, i am craving your mouth hugger right now!!!! see ya soon

all i have to say is this place brings me back home to southern california!!!! from the authentic loco tacos to the atmosphere ilovethis place. not to mention this place is open really really late and delivers!!! oh and they have some great upbeat music as well, i'm all over this place!!

ilovegringos!! wish they were open on sundays!!!

holy shit, this is good eaten. ok, i have been eating here since it opened and all i have to say is that gringos locos is so good that it has literally become apart of my weekly diet. every time i'm there i tell 'em to just make me what's good... and it never fails. tonight they made me the dirty sanchez,,,, it was so good that i came back for seconds two hours later. also, try the double decker tocos that rob makes.... yummy! and the mexican sushi and the puffy tacos... just a few of my favs///
trust me, you'll be hook just like me :)

gringos is the newest spot for fresh mexican cuisine. me and some friends saw the new sign on wahigton and orange and thought we'd give it a try. it was amazing! better and mire affordable than t flats... i had the fish tacos and my friend had the gringo enchilada, both were better than i could have had at any other restaurant. the salsas and sauces are delish as well. they also deliver until 3 am!lovethis place and highly recommend you check it out!!

yummy!. ilovethe idea of late night mexican downtown! i've been there three times since they've opened and haven't had anything i didn't like. there is not only late night carryout but also lunch hours where you can sit down. it's such a cute place ! very well done. i'll definitely be coming back! ilovethe puffy taco's and the mexican sushi, rolled up flauta like cut into pieces like sushi served with a side of guac like the wasabi is...what a cute idea and so delicious! nice work on the recipes everything is fantastic!

yay mexican.lovemexican but couldn't find any downtown, i always wondered why??? ilovedowntown and hate driving so gringos was awesome, i know one of the owners, he lives in my building and always hear him talking about this late night mexican place. gotta have the gringo sushi.. amazing, great idea!!! goodnight i'm full ;)
