griff's hamburgers

wow! excellent burgers, always fresh fries, fresh fried pies, and the steak finger basket is better than dairy queen hands down. this is my new favorite place! they actually seem to care about what they do and that they work with food. the staff is constantly cleaning throughout our time here. there's a candy game and an arcade game for the kiddos so there won't be a dull moment. now all they need is a guacamoleburgerand i'm set! even though their...well anyburgeris top notch! yummo!

miss. bad customer service , order a cheeseburgerand they give me no cheese and when i ask the guy who took the order argu with me the manager say just give the cheese and he grab a cold slice of cheese and hand it to me .. i just return my meal..

good average hamburger. this is a good hamburger place however not an excellent burger. we ordered the "giant hamburger" and while it was on a large bun the amount of meat was far from being "giant". theburgerhad little taste to it and was just another burger. there was a very thin slice and i mean very thin slice of tomato, chopped onions , pickle and small piece of lettuce. i know that one should not expect a gourmet hamburger when you only pay $2.99 for the burger. the service was quick and the meal order was accurate. the inside dining area was very clean. wish i could have written that about the restroom and my spouse advised her restroom was about the same condition.they did give us a refill on our drinks.

their concept is really not much different than mcdonald’s orburgerking, so i was curious to see if they made better burgers here than the big guys. the setup inside the restaurant was the same as a regular fast food place, their menu looked very much the same, and the whole ordering process was also the same as you would expect from a fast food place. they didn’t advertise any special meat, fries, or anything that would make them different. i ordered their double giant cheeseburgercombo. unlike other places we didn’t get the drink cups to make our own drinks; we had to order the soda and they would pour it. i thought that was odd. i mean it’s not exactly expensive to have people get soda a few times by themselves. the wait was not unexpected very long, maybe 3-4 minutes and theburgerwas ready. it was wrap

no junkyard dog anymore. griffs is where i go for my junk food fix, a few times a month, that is until i went there tonight for a junkyard dog and found out they don't have them anymore. i'm not really aburgerperson so the jyd is all i like from them. no reason to go back now. no jyd and a smoking section inside means no reason for me to go back. we are a family of 5 so when we order we order a lot. not anymore. don't waste your time.

blue collar burgers galore!. this is a working man'sburgerjoint. food is good, greasy, and plentiful. always packed, quick, and priced right. city utility workers, cops, and construction workers are there in force. i am always amazed by the numbers of patrol cars, trucks, and city vehicles in the parking lot. did i mention the the double cheeseburger is excellent?

best in texas. the best hamburger in texas. i have traveled all over the us and the griff'sburgeris as close to my own grilledburgeri have ever purchased from a drive through. i have purchased at the garland and mesquite location. i lived in irving in the late 80's early 90's and ate at the location in irving. if you want a grilledburgerand grilled bun griff's is the best bet. it puts all other fast food to shame. french fries or onion rings are better than others too.

lumber & burgers!. huh? yeah - this griff's sits on the strip space in front of one of the garland home depots, so if i know i gotta go to the home depot for something, i'll try to double up and get lunch here as well. i don't usually review fast food, but griff's is an exception.the burgers & fries are terrific. also, they have brought back my favorite, the hot dogburger(hot dog split open on aburgerbun) its just incredible. better than theburgerto me. easy in, easy out (drive thru too). prices are great, especially the lunch specials (daily) and the crews are trained to really get your order right. not a date night restaurant (unless you're norm macdonald) but a good freshly made fast food joint. (you'll know when the spirit moves ya.) give it a try!
