green tea house

this is a great little convenienceplaceto get some good asian inspired food. my family used to often order delivery before we moved out of the area. we still drop in when we are in the area. their food is delicious and the price is comparable. if you go next door to kroger, their sushi in the deli area, though prepared recently, often costs more than the fresh sushi prepared at the gth. not to mention kroger sushi (though still good) is presented in a plastic box. gth has a wide variety of sushi available and we've not had a roll we didn't thoroughly enjoy. their non-sushi wares are also delicious and well proportioned and still offer a great value. my non-sushi eating kids (whos children are these?!?) often order chicken dishes and lo mein. always a joy. the staff are very friendly and the restaurant has a post modern asian décor. it is very inviting. their lunch and posted specials are a good value, and i have always enjoyed their offerings. worth a drop in.

awful!. for anyone thinking about eating here, don't. they deliver half your order but charge you the full amount, and when you call to try to get your food they couldn't care less. we were told they will bring the remainder of our order the next time we order. when we asked for a manager, we were told there was not one available to speak with us. then, the lady said they would be happy to come back out and take back the food they did deliver. for most restaurants, customer service is the key to building a business, but not for this place. with service like that, combined with substandard food, thisplacewon't last long unless ownership steps in and makes some personnel changes.

gives chinese food a bad rap. we had our first experience with the green tea house #1 on heritage trace last night. the bill was high - the food was low. the crab is all artificial. the calamari is frozen already breaded - yuk! the garlic green beans and chicken had no garlic or flavor or any kind, was served cold (probably frozen chicken pieces), sent back and brought back to the table half warm. i asked for a manager or owner - no one works on thursday night. i asked for it to be removed from the bill - not happening. the only good thing we had was the hot saki and it was less than a top brand, the waitress knew about 3 words to describe each dish "frozen" "fried" "okay" we were so disappointed that it was tempting to put a big -0- at the bottom and sign my name. we will never darken their door again and would warn others to avoid the "bad excuse for chinese cuisine." have traveled the world and the littleplacethat only does take out at love field serves better, hotter, more tasty food!

the good is amazing but the service is absolutely horrid. i've had bad service at restaurants but never this bad. this would be my favoriteplaceif it weren't for the service.

greatplaceand great food. i often order here for delivery, and dine in. i must say, the food is incredible, they deliver very fast, and the people that work there are nice and genuinely care about your needs. i recommend this restaurant to many friends and they all love it!

i never would have expected the selection!. i dunno what these other people are thinking *edit* (saw a few bad reviews, but on the latest update saw a bunch of good ones) , but it must be crazy. seriously, there are not many places that give you japanese cuisines like chirashi and boba tea for delivery and fast too.

so the first time i ordered from them, i got an array of items that i figured might be sub par when it came to 3 types of asian cuisine.... i was wrong! they have not only an amazing menu, but stuff i never thought would be available for delivery!

i am a prude when it comes to asian cuisine, and i always judge by two things... a simple roll if they serve japanese, and crab rangoon if chinese.first off, the crab rangoon is perfect. crispy, right amounts of cream cheese and crab, ... and soo much wonder with the simple seasoning inside the pouches of goodness. red sauce was just right too.

now lets talk about the weird stuff. boba tea to order? oh and also smoothies? okay, sure. so, we ordered two boba's. one was banana and the other was strawberry. i never had boba tea before, but what a pleasure! the banana was like a candy i had once...and okay. but the strawberry was to die for! i would make special rum mixes with it if i had a party! daaam good. i suggest it.

now, to the fun foods. the chinese dishes are just right. but the star is the japanese dishes. i suggest getting the rainbow roll and the chirashi. it's amazingly fresh and both showcase all of the beautiful fish used in japanese cuisine in such a way that will make you want to take pictures. also they make real seaweed salad! not the buffer crap with cucumber in it, but all seaweed! so yummy!

the prices are good, the food is amazing. the other reviews must have been made by soccer moms that burned their mouths on a bitter marriage because i think they are crazy. thisplacerules!

oh, i also did not mention how quick they deliver. holy crap! the other day it only took like ten minutes! o_o i am very impressed and i must say i am a jerk when it comes to reviews. i like em. give em a shot, they make the tastiest dishes i have had in a looong time.

great food, great atmosphere. this is a brand new restaurant in a brand new shopping center. theplaceis very nice and upscale. the staff are also very professional and clean. this restuarant will satisfy anyone who likes any type of asian food. my wife hates chinese food but loves sushi. i love chinese food and hate sushi. this is theplaceis for us because they have both and the prices are reasonable. of course, the food is great.
