my big fast greek...lunch.. i don't know of any place in the city that you can get greek food in this fashion (fast foodish with restaurant quality). i got the falafel pita, which was decent, but the eggplant fries that i got as a side were aawwwssooome. i'll be back for more.

love this place! my gf and i go pretty often and always get the chicken and portabella dish with the fried artichokes to split, and a lamb gyro also. the desserts are insanely good too. homemade recipes and good people.

the lamb souvlaki was tender and lots of meat. however pita was a bit hard on the outer edge of the front. the spanakopita was also very good the spinach was not over cooked or to watery.

excellent. i came in for the first time today and was very impressed by basilis. the staff are all very friendly and helpful, greeting you the second you walk in, all smiles around.

i ordered two lamb gyros and they were amazing - heaping, generous portions of lamb; fresh ingredients; and the pita bread in itself was delicious too.

if you're a gyro guy/gal, you've gotta roll through immediately. basilis easily has the best gyro i've ever had, anywhere. and it comes at a great value too! check it out!

my tastebuds are happy right now. i am new to this style of food, and i am hooked. my girlfriend and i got take out of 1 beef souvlaki, 1 chicken gyro, 1 spanikopia, and 1 baklava (pardon my spelling). i tried everything and it was all very good. the souvlaki sandwich was my favorite. the baklava was very different type of dessert but it was good.

this place is always crowded and has an usual wait time. had heard great things about this place, i tasted the veg gyro and it was really good, they also had a good spread of desserts.

this place is one of the most authentic greek places in the us! had the mixed grill and chick pea soup. both were superb along with the variety meze plate. highly recommend this place!

excellent greek food. i asked them if they had my grandma despina back there cooking! we met the owner and found out he is from queens,ny so now it makes sense why everything was so tasty to us, former new yorkers. we've been there twice this month! see you soon!

one of my favorite spots to eat in richmond. without a doubt, the chicago style lamb gyro is the best gyro i've ever had. the service is friendly and usually timely. i recommend ordering the fried calamari for the appetizer the the gyro. this hidden gem is a must if you're in richmond!

this place is amazing! the gyro is the best in town. however, order the chicago style lamb gyro, not the house made lamb gyro. the fries are good, and the service is friendly. a great place to grab a late bite with some friends.

best gyro ever. growing up in nyc, i had no shortage of the typical greek diners to grab a quick gyro. almost all were at the very least good, maybe a couple "meh" ones here and there. i feel it's safe to say that greek on cary has the single best lamb and beef gyro i've ever eaten. stuffed with plenty of tender meat, with great house-made tzatziki sauce, on a fresh and delicious pita bread for a more than fair price. fries were fantastic. service was friendly and quick, and the owner was a pleasure to speak with.

this place feels like home. can't wait to return.

good food, good portions, good service. they give you a warmed flatbread with tzatiki sauce to start. the combination of the two, as many are familiar with for greek food, is light and perfect as a sample to what the place offers. the service was fast and the waitress was polite. i ordered a mega gyro - the meat was tender and the portion was a good size, especially for the price. the atmosphere is nice and the restaurant was clean. i'm definitely coming back any time i have a craving for greek.
