boring mall, great food. this is your basic strip mall, but it has a number of great eateries among its many boring shops. one of the reallygoodones is greek cafe. their menu is small, but whether you like greek food or not, you should be able to find something you like. besides the usual greek entrees, they have philly steaks simple salads, tilapia, hamburgers and sauteed vegetables. their gyro sandwiches are a combination of beef and lamb, and my goodness do they know how to pour it on! i could not even close the ends of the pita it was so packed. and delicious does not even begin to describe the flavor. the combo lunch, which is one of five, comes with fries and a drink. the side of fries was excellent and quite a lot for the money. i am usually skeptical about ordering the lunch special as many times i leave the restaurant still hungry. not this time. i was going to hit the custard shoppe next door, but the size of the lunch kinda put the kibosh on that.

there were about ten booths or tables to settle your bones and have a leisurely meal. amazingly, they had a greek radio station playing music while the diners ate. decorations were minimal, but that was the only thing. everyone working there were in great spirits, and as for the food, well, i already covered that. it was great!

not authentic at all!. me and the wife love greek food and found this place here on urbanspoon withgoodreviews so we decided to try it. one review that caught our eye was the person claiming to be greek and how authentic this food was, this is not the truth in our opinion.now the portions were pretty big but thats where thegoodthings end. the tzatziki sauce was 95% sour cream and had some pickles thrown in it and if you do decide on the gyro have either a bib or towel ready because they put too much sauce on the gyro. the hummus had so much lemon in it you could hardly taste the hummus its self. at almost $40 dollars for a kids meal and 2 gyros it is not worth it in our opinion. if you want authentic greek food make the drive to the west side of fort worth and go to saffron sky.

i've never felt the need to write a review until now.

firstly the cashier was extremely rude. when i asked a question she acted as if i was bothering her.

and when the food came out, there was a huge blob of tzatziki sauce in the middle the gyro. to top it all off the food was ok at best.

did not have agoodexperience at all and will never be back.

my new favorite place. i have been there three times this last week because i loved it so much! the first day i had the gyro platter. the fries weregoodand the greek salad delicious, the gyro was packed with meat and i couldn't even finish the whole plate. my husband had the tilapia (which was the fish of the day), it came with seasoned rice, mixed vegetables and a greek salad. he loved it, the fish was very well cooked and not the least bit too "fishy" tasting, as is the problem we've had with other restaurants and their tilapia. we went back the next day and i tried the dolmas wrapped in grape leaves with rice and mixed vegetables. they dolmas were very juicy and was packed with flavor! the next time i tried the falafel, which was okay but i enjoy the meaty dishes more!

so disappointed!. we were so excited to see a greek restaurant open on our side of town that we rushed right over for dinner. what a disappointment! although the restaurant was clean and the staff was very friendly and welcoming, the food was awful. we started with the spanakopita which was like none i had ever seen before. it was doughy and flavorless. the hummus was good. we then had two of the specials and a hamburger. the falafel were hard, little stale tasting pellets. the fish dish was too fishy - a very strong taste. everything just tasted old and stale. we are not overly critical people and we like to give restaurantsgoodreviews.nothing pleases us more that to support the little guy providinggoodfood. we also know greek food as my husband is greek. usually we will give a restaurant a second chance but not in this case. sorry.
