dim sum sunday. this is one of omaha's better asian restaurants, and the weekend dim sum experience is a big reason why. served saturdays and sundays from 11 am until 3 pm, there are about 40 options on the dim sum menu. plus you have the regular menu to choose from, too. dim sum prices average in the $3 range, so it is affordable for a group of diners to mix and match 3 or 4 menu items per person, and then share. on my most recent visit i really liked the cilantro shrimp rolls. the other items we sampled weregoodas well.
a limited dim sum menu is also available at other times of the week, but go on the weekend to get the full experience.

it will be your grand fortune. dining here is special for one reason. the dim sum. no, they don't push the little carts around like in dim sum palaces in larger cities, and that is a shame. but the food is every bit as good. the majority of diners are chinese, and that should tell you something about the quality, and the value. located right next door to famous dave's, you might say dave has a next door neighbor in general tso.
this restaurant is also open later into the night than many others in the neighborhood, something to remember if you are craving dinner at 9:30 after your movie lets out.
if you dine here it will be your grand fortune to do so.
