gourmet and company

what a surprise. we meet here for a business diner and our party was a total of 8 people. everyone enjoyed their main courses and ken was agreatserver. i had the roasted chicken with garlic and artichoke couscous - the chicken was a little overdone but the flavor was out of this world. my partner had the duck special and again the protein was a little overdone but the dish as a whole let him forgive. next time we are in town for business we will be back for sure!

this is a our go-to for the fine dining experience in the tricities. the closest thing locally that i can find to compare to some of the local places we used to eat at when we lived in the metro-atl area. never had a bad meal here. love their seasonal menus and the fact that support local farms and list those farms so you know where your food is coming from.greatwine selection.

snooty staff.. i used to love gourmet! i would go about every other day. whether it was for lunch or dinner. but most of the staff are very snooty now a days. it used to be such a good atmosphere! but know it feels like we are all old ladies with our legs crossed and elbows off the tables. the food used to be fantastic but the other day,i went for lunch and got the apple salad as a side and the apples were brown! i was deeply disappointed and when i tried to tell the waitress she got very rude and even more snooty!
they also take too long most of the time,even if barely anyone is there.
though,if you go into their shops a few doors down,you'll fall in love! they have suchgreatstaff working and cute little things! they have the cutest jewelry,baby stuff,and dining ware. its the first place i look when i have to give a gift!

best restaurant in jc.greatplace for an excellent burger and good selection of beers or a full dinner. the duck was perfect. this restaurant would do well in any major metropolitan area with a food savvy population. jc got lucky.

classy and comfortable. gourmet and company is agreatplace to enjoy good food and good company. the atmosphere is cozy with a touch of class. the service is perfect and the food delicious. they have wonderful specials (love their salmon) and switch them up often. gourmet also has a comfortable bar area with large overstuffed chairs. night cap anyone?

best fine dining resturant in jc. bar scence after 9pm includes agreatbar menu with reduced prices! a real find in a town this size - you can't go wrong.
