gordo's pub & grill is located in norwood at 4328 montgomery road. if you've never been there before and manage to find the place at night without gps or a google maps print-out, you get the "gold star." the dimly lit sign seemed made to ward off stranger

great food, but a little slow. i thought the food was great, and probably one of the better burgers that i've had. the service was good but it took a long time for our food to arrive. we went during lunch on a friday so it was crowded, but it still took a really long time. it seemed to be being prepared one table at a time. i would recommend going right when they open or a little later for lunch.

the best burger in this burg. honestly. good ingredients. well-prepared (medium rare!), and a beer selection that is second to none. i had the jean-robert burger. we also tried the bbq wontons (nice) and the cheese fries (hard to screw up). even the mac and cheese was good -- homemade and cheesy.

this one is on the list of regular joints for us.

terrible service. i was hopeful that gordo's would live up to some of the reviews it has gotten. alas, i would be let down. the wait staff gave an air of indifference to us as soon as we walked in the restaurant. the food was just okay. i would rather go to terry's for a burger. the people are way nicer there

nice little spot. amazing entrees with exquisite taste and nice presentation. great atmosphere. yes they are understaffed, but the staff that are there are nice and wonderful. i recommend this joint.

great food terrible service. got there at 7 was seated at 9....understaffed and of those there not interested in customers. would not go back unless it's early or late night.

good burgers, bad service.. so i've been to gordo's a few times now and i really do like their burgers. definitely on my top 5 burger joints list when it comes to the taste and presentation. my biggest problem with this place is it's service. they seem to be overworked and understaffed. maybe they could use some part-time employees to handle the amount of people that come in. each time it has taken over thirty minutes for my food to come and and it seems that the servers cannot afford to be very attentive. if it weren't for that, it would definitely be cincinnati's second best burger place in my opinion.

great food, better prices. i sometimes feel like i've cheated gordo's pub after i eat there... their burgers are almost always very good. i have had one or two mediocre experiences out of many visits. perhaps this shouldn't happen, but the good far outweighs the bad for me. the gordo's burger is excellent, as is the black bean burger.

just a norwood kinda place-dark paneling-un-interested bar tender. the one time i was there the waitress was swamped and the bartender stood at the cash register and did nothing to help get the food on the tables.

the waitress was stressed. the burgers were so/so and do not compare with terry's turfclub.

the only reason this place gets press is because the owner named a burger after jean (greasy dirty hair) robert..

best burger in cincinnati!!. i had the john-robert burger and it was absolutely delicious. the best burger in cincinnati and best fries with homemade ketchup. highly recommended.

my first issue is that gordo's is hard to find, especially at night. i was riding with avani and we could not find it. we pulled over and got out the iphone. it turns out we were directly across the street from it and could not see it. we went inside and

better than average. they've got a great beer selection (stone levitation ale and dogfish head 60 min ipa on draft), good burgers/fries, excellent fried fish sandwich and decent prices. the service isn't very fast-so be sure you've got enough time.

love this place..... i really love gordo's .... i have recently discovered this hidden gem... i have gone there once a week since december and celebrated my birthday there... there burgers are fantastic( i am partial tot the hawaiian add bacon) the servers have always been excellent. the beer selection is great every thing from hudy delight to arrogant bastard i live in pleasant ridge so it is close... i normally won't write a review on a place but i think they have one of the best burgers in cincinnati...

raw burger.. my girlfriend got a burger at gordo's that was ordered "medium". it came out raw. not pink, not bloody, but cold and still completely raw on the inside. we are meat eaters and have eaten plenty of pink, even red burgers, but never have i been served something that could still moo. it was inedible. the pickle spears folded over on themselves they were so limp, and their ketchup (home made?) had no flavor. it was like red food coloring, water, and corn starch for consistancy. i cannot stress enough how much you should avoid this restaurant. i think i was actually insulted by what they tried to serve as food there. we had to go down the street to mcdonald's so she could get something edible for lunch (not kidding). do yourself and your health a favor, and avoid this restaurant. i uploaded 2 pictures of her burger to the urbanspoon iphone app, if you'd like to see what we were served. thank you.
